The HARDEST Hotline Miami Achievement

In this video, I took on my biggest gaming challenge yet.
I decided to attempt the first Hotline Miami's most infuriating achievement, by completing all levels with the highest score possible.
Of course, an achievement higher than this would be to unlock all achievements, but this would be one of those that many people would perhaps want to chase first...

i just did it, to be honest some levels are painful but i still found it fun to A+ them, assault was the one i had the most difficulty. The achievements that i really didn't like was the "do all of x" especially since the game doesn't keep track of what you need, Always on Top was my last chevo cause of that :v

a little tip (even if it’s a bit late) you can execute the crawling guys for a little bonus points

A tip for A+ all levels. On all of the jacket levels use don Juan and just push everyone against the wall and stomp them, it gives you 2200 pts and is the only mask that has this advantage plus the knockdown bonus which gives you 3200 pts in total, you don’t have to rush through the level either. on the assault level though you could get a high combo or just execute everyone with carl’s drill, shoot guns to lure enemies and gain boldness. On Biker levels, if you floor kill the two enemies then your basically done its a really easy A+. On the fun & games level you have to get a high combo, use your throwing knives to keep it alive as you move from enemy to enemy and utilize the lock-on ability as its hard to aim in this game Also the levels: Trauma, Showdown, and all the biker levels after fun & games don’t have rankings so you don’t need to play them if you don’t want to

I appreciate you showing Crackdown as the biggest pain in the ass for 100%. I've platinumed this game twice and each time I lost all my shit on this level. I always had a feel that it's broken, because it's fairly easy to get A+ on almost every other one. Still, Hotline Miami 2 platinum gave me the most intense mental breakdown... I advice everyone to stay far away from finishing it on 100%.

@@riceismoke8074 I've platinumed Dark Souls 2 and 3, dropped Demon's Souls (original on PS3) at around 70%. Got all of the trophies in BloodBorne, including the ones from DLC. I wouldn't call them hard exactly. Games were challenging at times for me, but most of the trophies in Souls Series are just long and tedious and that's the main problem. Learning magic, obtaining weapons, leveling up Covenants and getting all the rings (the reason why I dropped Demon's Souls). These games are unforgiving, - yes, but their "hardcore value" is too exaggerated by the journalists and all the people who rarely play hard games. I still think that HM2 is a lot harder: not only you have to complete it, but you have to MASTER it. It's as if in Dark Souls 3 there was a trophy for speedrunning the game or dying only a certain amount of times.

Quick tips from a pro (id like to think) ALWAYS KILL CRAWLING ENEMIES, if you do it take down on them it will count as an additional kill, extend your combo, give you extra points in boldness, etc. You can spot him easier by using golf clubs or baseball bats. Carl, Graham, and Zack are like the only masks youll ever need You can extend combos through floors, just be fast and you can make a whole level a full combo

I spent almost 3 months straight to get this achievement, I remember joining a call with a friend of mine and playing for hours just to get an A+ at a certain level, but by far the hardest thing I found to get was the police station level

It is incredible that in HM2 there is no achievement of getting all the levels in rank S or making them all S or A+ In Hardmode. Maybe they didn't want the players not to go bald or break their entire house

Congrats man just got this done myself the other week might go for the rest of wrong numbers aswell. A tip though you might have an easier time building score if you minimize your gun usage as they give the least points and try to punch and then execute the enemy with a weapon as doing these both combined give 2k points per russian (1k for punch and 1k for exc with melee weapon) anyways enjoyed the video

An easy way to get A+ is using the "don juan" mask and preforming the wall execution it gives 2200-2600 points per kill + the 600 points for hitting a russian with the bare hands or trowing a weapon at him Idk if it was bugged or if it was meant to be like this but it works

I farmed the achievement a few years back and one of the best ways to get A+ on most of the levels is to kill everyone barehanded. Cravkdown is different tho, it's a pain in the arse

I read this with the initial assumption you were trolling. I was going to say something to the effect of "found Satan" for having the AUDACITY to suggest I even attempt any of the levels without weapons, much less that it was the optimal way to A+. ...then I remembered the Tony mask exists. The most broken mask in the first game. I love how the second game called us all out and said, "ok, you like fisting? Let's make Tony his own character and make it so he can't pick up weapons so you HAVE to fist your way through all these oppas." And he's still the easiest member of the Fans to use

After I platinum trophied Hotline Miami on the PS4. In my personal opinion the biggest eureka moment is when I learned you can link combos floor to floor. You got to start with the Brandon mask to move faster, so when you kill the guy that's last right next to the staircase. keep going up and out the next floor and chain kill the first guy near entrance.

I just cheesed them all, except the biker levels, since you don't have the masks. If you do the execution of the guy being against the wall, and you kick his head in, you get 2200 points, but only if you're using Don juan. Sadly, the police don't have this so I had to use carl's drill

For me, getting an A+ rank at all levels in Hotline Miami was much easier than in Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number. That’s why in Hotline Miami you need to stun every enemy and then finish them off so you get the maximum number of points. And in Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number you have to do everything quickly and watch for the maximum combo.

on majority of levels you can just carry combo to the next floor, finishing levels in a single combo was my obsession back in 2015. also it's much easier to pull off in the first game because knocking down armed enemies gives points and prolongs combos so you can gain a lot of spare time just by tossing guns at them which makes it not that hard to kill last enemy on the floor right before the transition to the next one. it's funny I am just now realizing I haven't played this game for almost 10 years.

push it was honestly the hardest for me to A+, i had all the others done while still struggling with push it. Major key in crackdown is to carry your combo onto the 2nd floor. try to go for full combo and its ezpz with zack

If u wanna get A+ on this level easily just equip the mask that makes doors lethal. for some reason it gives additional points when u execute an enemy that is knocked against a wall (2200 points). very easy to get A+ if u do this.
