The HARDEST Hotline Miami 2 Achievement

Here we are ladies n gents, the second game of Hotline Miami 2 is done too, now we've got to grind until we get all achievements lol.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this vid/montage of me attempting to finally get the A+ achievement for this game, which took me over 3 hours for the hardest levels left. SO with that being said, I hope you enjoy :)

Fun fact: the psycho enemies in Release can be knocked down by a punch or a thrown weapon, meaning you don't need a melee weapon to kill them

Interestingly, if you knock them down too, they'll revert to regular enemy AI if you let them get back up. Something comedic about this is if there are no weapons around, the psycho, already unarmed, will back away from you because they're unarmed.

when I did this I thought it was with s rank, so I spent like two months trying to get every level with S rank, and when I got the achievement is the moment I noticed I just needed a+. After that I gave in to the voices and did S rank in every level on hard mode

@@frezingcrazy I didn't played a lot, and also there were some levels where I got stuck for days, but yeah two months was a lot, I think it was the same time frame or a bit less for hard mode S-Rank and that says something

I just A+ ranked all of the beard levels and was about to tell you to abuse the flamethrower to get easy A+ ranks on the beard levels, but i think my man has already done it. Edit: guys I introduce you to the new version of "use don juan". It's called: "use the flamethrower"

Btw pro tip: katana/chainsaw guys can be "stunned" by shooting at them so you can pass and get a melee

100%ed this game last night and this achievement was quite the adventure. The final level with Son vs the Columbians probably took me over two hours to A+ rank

​@@domcash1132There's also a glitch on First Blood where you can shoot someone, die, spawn back in the same spot with the gun, rinse and repeat. From what I've read, it's because it takes around 1 second for the respawn point at the start of a level to activate. Every level has this timer, the reason why First Blood is really the only level you can do it on is because to my knowledge, every other level has the character do an animation that takes up the 1 second time frame.

I did custom levels for a good amount of time and it was a breeze, I recommend doing this for new players, easier than playing the same boring levels again and again

Honestly you doing catastrophe with a rifle is crazy, I did it with the flame thrower a manger to get a S in 20 minutes, but that is crazy skill to pull that off Also, I don’t know but death wish was painful. That was possibly one of the most annoying one levels in the game (fuck pulling a combo on the Corey level)

Hardest achievement is ACHIEVEMENT ADDICT because it is literally unobtainable on Xbox. The original collection can be 100% but not the re release. I cried, so long. (The Achievement is in HM2. You can still 100% the first one as they are separated games in the re release) Please pin this.

In the level caught you can skip talking to the police chief by just walking to the left no joke screen just transitions as if nothing happened and you didn’t warp reality.

Fun fact when you get a+ or s rank the numbers turn green also I would have used flame thrower solely for the fact it one hits the fat guys and let’s you lean into a tap like attack method might also be my play style but I see you running from the fat guys when you have bullets I would shoot them once and keep running cause they do end up Bleeding out

Hotline Miami 2 has some real hot garbage levels. Open windows that enemies can easily snipe you from, Fat Bastards, dogs and wide open spaces being the common causes. Casualties, Dead Ahead and Demolition comes to mind. Absolutely hate them. It’s like they looked at Hot & Heavy and did more of it. Seriously, who’s the sad piece of shit that designed the first floor of Demolition?

Hard Mode, you can get it if you simply finish the game without getting an A+ or higher, it can be d- or whatever, and Genocide is just time-consuming
