I was going to cut out the jokes because I wasn't sure if it would be taken out of context due to my sarcastic dry humour, and because I wasn't sure if joking about not being able to be racist, counts as making light of racism. But then I thought of how I am considering NOT making fun of racist people just because its safer to just not talk about sensitive subjects like this at all. But thinking back at it, it really might be the most brainded idea to try to make fun of racist people using dry sarcastic humor, so I apologize for anyone I offended. That game looked tilting af - but the important thing is to not let games like that tank our mental like some people do. Everyone, no matter the rank, will occasionally get matched in unwinnable games (and sometimes in unlosable games where we could afk in a corner and team will still win). Just gotta keep our cool and perform for the actually winnable ones.

i recently played an unknown moba. By default you dont see the players name, instead you see the characters name. "Ana, Zen, Soldier, Hanzo, DVA". It feels incredible calm in comp matches. Was very surprised, this setting eliminates the whole toxicity towards other players.

This vid is my experience sometimes. It's either you carray consistently getting 2 picks or more per fight, or you're condemned to lose. I'm GM, but this is more than broken matchmaking, it's just forced losses at this point and it's gg go next unless, again, you can manage to carry 24/7. New ranked parameters and changes are gonna be great (hopium)

@@TheChcam Yeah, it's a frustrating. I'm sure you could make it to at least plat, it's just odd how the game evaluates individual performance - if at all. I've heard it does, but I never confirmed it. If it does, then it's bad at taking individual performance into account because I'll be outperforming the entire lobby in my role and win 5 games but still rank the same. It's crazy that the matchmaker thinks the people getting well past 10+ deaths with a few elim confirms and contribution belong in the same rank as I, who has less deaths, 90% of elim confirms (along with high damage), and several are solo elims (when playing DPS, my main role). I've gone matches where I could have 10 solo elims (on top of my overall elims) but my tank is lost or supp comp doesn't make sense, or the team genuinely doesn't know what they're doing. It's a frustrating system. I don't spread toxicity to anyone, but it's just a GG go next in my mind.

I think you’ve got a lot of good takes in general but I find it strange to defend the MM system, it’s not that anyone special or being on by blizzard but there is empirical evidence in their Patents for match making systems of egregiously predatory marketing schemes and behaviors. While Bobby is gone now this game was launched under him and so was this ranking system. A wide spread experience of overtly easy wins into overtly impossible games is a common trope which I’m sure you’ve also experienced. I empathize with your rationalization of just focusing on your own gameplay and think it’s much healthier than the alternative but I think it’s wack to not acknowledge that the system is inherently flawed. Just my two cents, keep up the good videos!

Ita alright. Happens to me all the time. I go on a win streak then all of a sudden I go off on a loosing streak. Getting dps who just don't do damage or supports who don't heal or just Wana be dps. Then I get demoted 1 or 2 ranks and I start winning again.

Matchmaking is broken. The amount of steamrolls on both sides is crazy. It's not just me losing every time, one game I will lose and be only one with kills, next game the enemy can't get out of spawn and so on. Their system is so far broken it's not even fun to win.

its that no one in the lobby can see the real name of the player that activated streamer mode to avoid getting stream sniped. They know the person is a streamer but not which one so they cant go on twitch and look up their positioning and other crutial information about the enemy team.

The problem is with the added 1-2 tabs and dmg from supports like illari and kiriko its almost impossible to counter heal all the burst dmg and the only solution is to also play dps support or loose the moment they have enough burst dmg characters. Only if they have a low/slow dmg comp you can win by outhealing. The problem is that you might tunnel vision on doing dmg and completly neglegt your dps players.

U might get a hitscan player against pharar echo player and the support might refuse to play mercy on one side and then the other side is guaranteed win. Etc.
