'Animal bundle seems pretty easy'. Oh boy, while in theory it is, it takes so many resources and so much time or some serious luck with the traveling cart to get that one done if you're not specifically min-maxing to do it. I've gotten it every single time in my past three or four farms and compared to the other option, the garden bundle, it's such a pain. I would put that specifically in difficult just because of how much straight up money and time you have to sink into it.

First time I’ve heard someone having difficulties getting blackberries. 😂 berry picking seasons everyone? For four days in both spring and fall you can shake the bushes with the pink and purple dots on them to get berries. I legit can get up between 100 til 200 blackberries in one day. No need ro run around finding them randomly on the ground. That’d take forever.

Pro tip: If you quit to the title/close the game on salmonberry/blackberry days it increases the chance for bushes to have them from 20% to 50% allowing you to get on average 2.5x more berries per day.

the community center is definitely my favourite part of the game. it's the biggest challenge imo (especially when you're an idiot like me and don't look up how to find certain items so you just wander around like an idiot for the first 3 years) and the rewards are genuinely rewarding. i'll never forget the time when i finally finished the center and saw that fight between pierre and morris.

I’m in my first playthrough and I have the fruit bat cave and it helped me with most of the bundles, but I couldn’t get enough apples and trees confused me. I ended up just putting an apple tree in my greenhouse (and I mean in the middle part not the edges which still confuses me) and completing the cc summer year two. I think I just got lucky with the traveling cart though because I never had rabbits or pigs.

My strategy for playing Stardew is nearly the opposite of Seanie's and I'm starting to wonder if I suck at playing the game. I still don't get why people pick the mushroom cave instead of the fruit bat cave. The fruit bat cave saves you plenty of gold on fruit trees! Mushrooms are already free and can be foraged in the secret forest or whatever. The cave still makes fruit in winter too, meaning you can make jellies (or wine, if you've managed to unlock the keg). This is even more profitable if you get the artisan profession.

It took me 4 years to complete the community center on my first playthrough, partly because I didn't know where to get things and partly because I didn't want to be bothered with learning to fish. I think for the longest time I needed a sturgeon and I just couldn't get it. I've gotten to the point now that I can easily complete it in under a year because I know where and when to get everything and also learned how to fish finally!

As someone who had both the fish farmer's bundle and rare crops in the same playthrough, the fish farmer was WAY harder to complete in one year. I got a rare seed pretty early and just waited for fall, but building the pond, putting fish in it, making them happy enough to produce at a steady rate, and aging the roe was such a pain. Also, forager's is so difficult if you don't have enough salmonberries cause you didn't save 50 and didn't know you needed them until you unlocked the board lol. Then you have to scramble for 20 plums in fall if you want year one.

I befriend Carolie for the tea saplings. They sell for 500g a piece so in the early game, like literally spring what 20? I made 7500g just by selling saplings. In one night. I can make tens of thousands as long as I have the materials. 5 fiber, 5 wood, and 2 wild seeds. Really really easy to make and all you gotta do is give her a dafodil everytime you can. Never use the green tea though lol.

I had no trouble with some of the things you deemed difficult or annoying, such as the Red Cabbage. Didn't even have the "guarantee year 1 completable" option checked, the traveling merchant just happened to be selling an entire fully grown red cabbage one day and I took it. Quality crops, the default one asks for eithe parsnips, melons, pumpkjns or corn. Even though I completely missed out on the 5 gold parsnips, I got the rest of them with little to no effort. Well, I got pretty lucky with the melons I guess but other than that.

pro tip for ya, you can get ancient seeds from the bugs in the mines (the worm guys, the ones that fly back and forth and the ones that fly around like bats) with a pretty good drop rate of like 1% or something, and since they are relatively easy to kill you can go kill a bunch and if a seed doesnt drop you can reset the day (exit to menu without sleeping first) and try again until one drops, rinse and repeat until you have as many seeds as you want

I did remix on my most recent play through and finished the community centre in winter year 1. I had the fish farmers and rare seed bundles. The sticky bundle is so much worse than it seems. Sap is so important for fertilizer but you have to use it for the bundle. It’s also just so much sap. If you’re only getting trees when you need wood it’ll take ages, especially if you don’t have a tree farm and you chop down the whole forest :(

It's been awhile since this comment but maybe you still want to know. I think people with strong personalities often create strong feelings in others, so some love them and some hate them. I thought the rare crops bundle was pretty easy I always get an ancient seed from fishing in the first 5 days of the first month. One time I got 5 of them in the first 11 days and an iridium band from fishing

In my first playthrough the first room I completed was the crafts room. I was terrible at the mines and pretty much ditched it for the quarry once it was unlocked. Now I can consistently get everything for the boiler room before I even finish the spring crops bundle

The Rare Crop Bundle is just as easy as the Fall Crop bundle, you just plant a rare seed at the start of fall, and wait for it to grow.

I feel like that bundle with the 5 gems is easier in theory than practice. In my main and first playthrough I didn't experience most of those gems until I hit skull caverns. RNG screwed me on that REALLY hard, even when trying to mine on luckier days. So if that happens - which it can, that's why Geologist Bundle was one of my last, I couldn't get the damn fire quartz - you're SOL.

Fishing is my favourite money maker in Spring so I usually end up like lv 8 lol. I can see why people would dislike it though. Also, Scorpion Fish can be found in the travelling cart, making the Master Fisher's Bundle significantly easier if you don't like fishing. You do need 600-700g on average to purchase it though.

they arent really that great tbh, they are expensive and using almost half the crop to make seeds to replant eats so much of the profots that i only ever plant the ome for the stardrop, after that i use ancient fruits for my main cash flow

Honestly, once I got the hang of fishing, I really started to enjoy it!! Its still a little difficult, but I do enjoy my in game Fridays where I fish all day and hang out at the Saloon at night :)

I would actually put batteries in difficult because you need level 6 foraging by summer, which is not guaranteed. So if you want the community center in year one, you better go chopping a lot!
