Note: quickly planting any plant (preferably sun producers) infront of the bull will stop the bull's charge right there, also, stop their charge early so they don't cause problems.

Just to let you know: tapping and holding the lawnmower is meant to be used so a zombie that's not near the mower dies to not ruin your defense. If the first mower activates by itself, you can still tap and hold on any of the other ones after that so it's not a waste unless you do this: 11:27

Some helpful tidbits about Wild West: - The Bull is one of the robotic kind. E.M.Peach is your go-to option. Not Magnet-Shroom. - 11:01 Read Shine Vine's Almanac description to feel stupid now. - Certain plants have ways to block launched imps, mainly from Bulls. Tall-Nut's height and Infi-Nut's Plant Food can accomplish this. - I'm very happy to see you suffering in Day 30. The guy who designed that level can step on a lego.

Puffball is basically a win button as it clears an entire wave for free (unless they nerfed it in reflourished) so I'd recommend using it. It's literally shadow shroom but for three whole columns

Though it's 250 and a plant food as well as requiring close proximity for better damage like Ice Bloom and Phat Beet's plant food(though given how powerful it is, you're usually going to want multiple of them as they can ignore blockades if zombies are in the lane).

Maybe a tip for the bulls. The bulls launches their imp when the bull like bumps into a plant. For some reason, the bull launches the imp when they bump into a turkey from Turkey Pult. I suggest to use Turkey Pult so that the bulls won't launch the imp near your defenses/over your lawnmower. It is also good for stalling. :D

Hey Wolfy, if a zombie is going to activate a lawn mower anyway, there’s no reason to set it off manually. Just let the zombie set it off so you can still set off another one manually when you need to save the plants in that lane.

Also, it took me a bit to realize that the endangered pea pods weren’t all on one track, but rather divided between the top two, middle, and bottom two lanes. To be fair, Eclise has levels where there are multiple carts on one track, so it’s at least understandable that I’d get it confused.

Don't forget to use Tall-nuts for the Zombie Bulls, especially when Rodeos start coming out. If there's a minecart near the right side of the lawn, plant something there (ideally a defensive plant like Wall-nut) and when Zombie Bulls come within that lane, you can just drag the minecart over and over until they throw the Imp. Else, just plant anything in front of them to trigger them. I recommend to use Squash since it instakills them. Anyway, proud of you to have finished Wild West 30 lol, already expected it to be a really hard level for you. What I have been noticing in these expansions is that the plants they give sometimes are key to the levels (ie. consider using tumbleweed and ultomato when you get it). And also, snow pea is definitely a plant that you should consider using (at least I do, they work great). Oh, and for future reference, Hypno-shrooms counter chickens. (you'll find that out in the next levels)

Just to add, in early game, it's crucial to stall for time by not killing zombies early so that you can get enough sun to prepare your defenses when big guys start coming out. You can use Potato Mine or Squash to kill off the first few zombies.

Tumbleweed is actually decent. When you use him against a big wave. He bounces on every zombies knocking them back to the front of the lawn. You just need to understand how it works for it to be useful

plant stuff infront of the bulls and they will throw their imp. They kick their imp off when they run into the first plant on the board. So if you place it early in the field they'll stop charging. Also don't waste the lawnmower activation on a mower that's going to be activated anyway in less than a second. The activation is much more useful for protecting a whole lane without having to worry about it early rather than later

Hey Wolfy, just to let you know that's not how Reed works, you have to put at least 10 to be good enough to clear an entire wave by itself. But by that time it can clear the most of a wave, so for the stronger zombies you can focus your stronger plants or insta kill plants. I'd recommend at the start using support like iceberg lettuce or something else to stall the first zombie. Then prepare the reeds

Note: Snap pea is very useful with the minecart zombies because of it's insta-kill ability with the chomp, same for chicken zombies, it also can stall gargantuars if you can time it's non-borrow/chomp ability.

Hey Wolfy, regarding those Bull zombies you hate. You should plant something in front of the bull so that it will stop charging at that plant and launch the Imp 3 tiles. I will warn you of another Bull zombie called a Rodeo Legend zombie that will destroy the first plant they get in contact first and are much faster than regular Bulls. They can also charge again after a certain time, destroying yet another plant if not dealt with on time. A good counter to both Bull zombies and Rodeo Legend Zombies is either you kill it first with an insta-kill plant or putting a plant in front of the Bulls at the start. I will say that Primal Walnut can survive the Rodeo Legend's charge, so probably use it at the front to stop them and launch the Imps early.

The bull will launch the imp as soon as it reaches a plant so using an instant kill plant like squash or even a puff shroom to stop it charging earlier and launching the imp into your defences is smt you can try. You could also just push the setup closer.

If there is a minecart, you can indefinitely stall a Garg by letting it begin its attack animation on a plant in the minecart then moving the minecart away before it gets crushed.

tip for wild west: fume shroom is actually really helpful since they are another certain type of pain in this world,block its charges with sun producers snow pea kinda useful 2 instants in each setup atleast also if your worrying about big wave beach extensions don't worry its easy...if u commit magni spam since its really versatile.

Goo Peashooter is expensive, but its attacks apply both Stallia and Shadow-Shroom's status effects. I've been having a good time with it in my PvZ2R Playthrough, especially in Lost City. (For whatever reason, it hits through shovel shields. I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth.)

If you’re having trouble with tanky untis (gargs, bulls, mechs especially football) I Highly suggest turkey-pult. It can stall out said zombies infinitely if not assisted by multiple zombies otherwise it shreds

If you plant food Shadowshroom it poisons the whole field and is generally considered to be an OP plant food. Could be helpful for dealing with those Minecarts and Bulls

I wonder if anyone told Wolfy about spikeweed or rock can be placed on the flowers and when a zombie steps on it, it wouldn't register as stepped/trampled (don't let the zombies trample the flowers) gimmick it only works when the flowers are in the middle of the tile not in between 2 tiles.

tall nut can be used to counter the bull's imp toss or you can just plant a cheap plant in front of the bull because the bull works very similar to pole vaulter. Once the imp has been thrown, the bull become very slow. Also did you know the EMPeach works on the bulls as they are machines?

if Day 35 is the same as in the International version, then Wolfy will not have a fun time trying to beat it, it took me countless attempts to beat it, and that's with a boosted Hypno Shroom and severely high leveled Electric Currant and Spikeweed

wolfy PLEASE USE THE APPROPRIATE COUNTERS FOR THE ZOMBIES. instead of thinking: "I can use this strat, that would be cool". USE THE COUNTERS. you keep doing this every world. like with the torch zombies in ancient Egypt. they are basically Browncoats yet you never used ice plants so your defense just got burned really easily. these are the counters you should know of in this world: dynamite zombie: ice and back-shooting plants chicken wrangler: lightning reed and spike/ice weed bull: just put something in the front. he throws the imp as soon as he encounters a plant minecart head (and their other world counterparts):other then poison shroom just ice and high-damage plants it's really frustrating sometimes to see you struggle with zombies you HAVE the counters for. with a proper strat with the right counters, you won't ever lose any lawnmowers. you should only struggle with levels like the last one where you cant pick your plants. (which by the way nice job. that looked really hard, especially trying to save that sunflower)

Actually idk if you ever realised it but the shadow shrooms shadow power is to make him splash damager. It might not be correct but i belive that he makes all zombies poisoned ether in 1x1 area(small splash but all zombies on the tile) or 3x3(bigger but less likely)
