It's so great to watch and listen to a novelist play a video game - you rarely find gamers on KZbin that are well educated. Plus I love video games, and I love JG. ;) Also, I like that when you say you'll put something in the description, you actually do it.

As someone who used to live in Chicago which is in the state right next to Indiana, I can tell you that they get some pretty bad winters(20 degrees Fahrenheit is high for the winter, usually it's in the teens amd lower) and blizzards during the winter. They also get some pretty bad blizzards. When I was 8, 11 years ago and was still living there, I had to walk to school in 2 feet of snow once. Not fun walking to and from school(after school, playing in the snow was fun though lol.

I am studying to be a vet right now, and I started it because I wanted to help animals. I decided that in 4th grade or something (I don't know how that works in the US), and since then I always said it. I got myself through this year because I only thought of how I always wanted to be a vet, so in a way, it's quite selfish. But the main goal is still to help in the happiness of people, because most of them love their pets :p

Hi John in Hank games without Hank. You talk about the difference between feeling excited or working to get something. I'm a student in the game industry going on to my last year now and I noticed that, when I am excited about something I make, or I get feedback from people, the things I make flow out more easily and are of a much higher quality. there are times however I lose sight of that dream i'm chasing. talks like this from you motivate and inspire me then. thank you and stay awesome :)

Hey john, on free kicks hold the shot button until the bar is half way (or all the way green with a teeny bit of yellow depending on how far away you are) and tilt the analog stick (what you use to move players) forward, this puts top spin on the ball thumbs up so john can see

I find the "Do not quote me" quote to be doubly amusing because not only is there the fact that instructions not to quote have been quoted, but there's also the fact that it's misquoted, John used a contraction.
@RuhBuhJuh113 жыл бұрын
With free kicks, I recommend using the LB button too, it's more powerful and generally more accurate. You have to get the power right, too little not too much or it won't be much of an advantage! Also, hold the analog stick towards the kicker depending on which foot they use (aim left for right footed kickers, aim right for left footed kickers). Also, when you're preparing to kick, hold RT and you'll get a list of your players, look for the player with the highest FKA (free kick accuracy)! :)

This is like additional, longer versions of John's Vlogbrothers videos except random comments about the game thrown in. I kind of like it as much as his normal videos in fact the only thing his videos are different from this are that he talks faster and you can see his face but this is anywhere up to 7 minutes longer than one of his videos, so its like 3 times as much John Green, which is awesome. Or, you could say, like a whole lot more John Green, as, like, every player on his team is J. Green

Work is love made visible. And if you cannot work with love but only with distaste, it is better that you should leave your work and sit at the gate of the temple and take alms of those who work with joy. For if you bake bread with indifference, you bake a bitter bread that feeds but half man's hunger. And if you grudge the crushing of the grapes, your grudge distils a poison in the wine. ~Kahlil Gibran

Whilst playing in the snow, the ball travels further due to less friction with the surface of the pitch. You probably dont play as well in the snow because you arent able to anticipate the ball as perfectly as you normally would :) Hope this helps P.S. You need to press and hold the left stick up when taking a freekick as it causes the ball to dip down over the wall of defenders

The man that most people say invented the Christian AD-BC calender was named the Venerable Bede, who wrote The Ecclesiastical History of the English People around 731. (He started with the Roman Invasion around 55BC.) He's the one who estimated when the birth of Christ was, but I mean, that was already around 700 years later, so he was bound to get a little off. C: All of this I learned from my BritLit class, so if I'm totally wrong, it's not my fault.

If you kick it over, you might be holding down D for too long. The longer you hold down D (shoot) the higher the shot :) try pressing D quickly. Also, if you're taking penalty kicks, try crossing it and then shooting it when it lands on the head of one of your players in the goal. Been playing FIFA a lot this week because of this!

You always talk about how you got so much more than you expected (obviously, I don't think anyone could imagine this), but what were you thinking would happen?
