If she did, we could get a more rounded picture of the whole thing. Maybe she would weigh in on how she felt when she found out the outing was only going to be her and John. Maybe she would say whether she still wanted to go with just John or whether she felt obligated. I hope she didn't feel obligated! (Maybe I just want her side of the story in the hopes it will placate the people who hold this story against John. The way I figure it is: if Sarah's side makes it clear she's fine with how it went down, a bunch of strangers should let it go; and if Sarah's side makes it clear she thought it was kind of underhanded and weird at first, then those strangers are vindicated and may be placated.)

"It's really hard to be confident when no one likes you." Thank you so much for that comment. This gives me so much hope. I have been struggling for years with this vicious, awful circle of non-confidence/nothing to inspire confidence and I'm only just starting to come into my own on that front. You and Hank make the lives of nerdy awkward people so much easier, because we can look at you guys and know we've got a chance.

Before I watched this video, I saw quite a lot of comments saying that they cried from John's story, and my response was, "I mean, I'm sure it's a sweet story, and everything, but I doubt it's worth crying over," and then I watched the video, and listened to the story, and needless to say, I'm crying over it... I'm crying a lot.

The Yeti is very smart. I would not be surprised if she actually saw through the movie with a group of friends bit & just went along because she enjoys John's company. The "I enjoy being single" bit could also be The Yeti's way of setting him up & giving him a chance to "strike" if he wanted to. Good thing John took the shot & pursued her. :)

Thanks for sharing your story John - that's really inspiring :) My wife and I will have been married for two years this November and have been together for seven and though our story isn't quite so involved, you've given me brain fodder for stuff to talk about in the future. I loved this John, if you can please do more. Suggestion for topic * - how about a game in which you correlate the different levels of your life (development, stages, etc) to the writers or novels that meant most to you in your life at that time. Eg; for me I'd talk about my teens and mention Douglas Adams, Kurt Vonnegut, P. G. Wodehouse, how they helped me through teen-stuff, early twenties I'd talk about Graham Green and Nabokov, how they made me see things differently... you get the picture.

John Green press the 'Y' button to make your keeper come out when its 1 on 1 with an opposing striker. Coming out closes off the options for shooting and makes it harder for them to score. Apologies if you have received this tip before. Keep up the awesome work with all your videos, they are truly amazing and inspirational (as are Hank's of course) :)
