I love that Billy just raced and finished in the top 5 in a race that VEERY few could do…and Roxy is almost unconscious in the bed at the end haha, Bill you’re a mother f*ckin brute man! I ride “hard endure” in the mtns of Montana and I don’t think most people understand how f*cking grueling it is to just ride in terrain like that, let alone race on it. Cheers!

During these long races I always carried an empty cardboard milk carton because you can fold it pretty flat and can be used as a container to transfer fuel or get water for the radiator.

Good Job Billy. Tough Break with bike problems and bad weather that made it harder than it should have been. Manny seems to not use as much energy and tries to not to spin the rear tire up as much saving fuel and not wearing out the rear tire as fast and had better traction. Will you be going to Tennesse for the event? You should try racing in Baja 1000 I think you could do well With the right practice and prerunning of the course to know the area.

You put on a big, great fight. But having that girl with you makes you weak. She's not looking after you, contrary you look after her. If you hav someone with you that person should make your life easier to take some of the immense load off and allow you to recover better from a day to another. Is she making your day easier anyway? Tell her to look after you and deal with food orders, shopping, washing and some of your in room logistics.

Dig the old bike out Bill and compare hill climbs with the new bike in damp and dry. Maybe the new bike is throwing you off a bit. Reports are the new crane and TBI bikes may not get as good as traction. Being on a factory bike be surprised if this matters.

It's the bike that's not clicking. Sounds like the low lug is a very short range before it brakes traction compared to other bikes your lugging up sections with . Unless tyre/moose choose is wrong (unlikely i know) and clearly you know how to ride ie body positioning ect the bike is nicking your energy resulting in the brick wall. Love the vids, but could you describe what's going on a bit more? something like "its day 2, about 60km race today and there are about 5 gold sections which only the top riders do (idk if this is true). Im in 3rd overall. The bike is feeling good, but Im tired as hell"
