Archfiend Emperor says "You cannot Special Summon any monsters, except Fiend monsters". Berserk Dragon is Zombie type. That's why Jen couldn't play Deal With Dark Ruler and summon Berserk Dragon.

I always thought the archfiend lore was tied to the agents and archlord lore cause Pandemonium field spell is opposite of sanctuary in the sky. Both had boss monsters that needed warrior of zera with the respective fields in play as tribute fodder. Like angels and demons since a lot of the archlord cards depict them fighting man aka marauding captain and warrior dei grepher

FHAS Squad in the building! If you ever want to run this matchup back, next time include at least 1 copy of Majestic Mech Goryu since his effect is tailor-made to activate "A Deal With Dark Ruler". Still lobbying for 2 "F-Tier" Boss Battles: Garma Sword VS Crab Turtle (Hungry Burger needs his Warrior Ritual buddy to get his revenge 😁) and/or: Demise, King of Armageddon VS The Legendary Flame Lord. Identical ATK, similar effect. Any deck that could maximize the effect of Royal Magical Library would be great for LFL. His status as both a Lvl 7 Spellcaster opens up the possibility for both Wonder Wand and Diffusion Wave Motion. His FIRE Attribute also opens up Salamandra. All 3 of those cards place Spell Counters on him. We need this. We really, really do 😁👍!
