If you have not read the first book you should read it before you finish this book because it has the beginning of their adventures. No pressure, just it's my favorite book in the series! All of his books are wonderful! I have read the whole series and hope for more!

Julian - Definitely keep at it! Public speaking is a good skill to have, and you do it better than anyone who isn’t a seasoned professional - with a team to help too. You should check out how much help narrators get: any mistakes are edited out using sophisticated audio equipment. I was thinking about the word “miser” and how it is VERY rare to hear these days. It was MUCH more common when I was a boy in the 1960s. In case you don’t know, it means a person who pathologically hoards money - to the point that, even if they are rich, they won’t buy anything that they don’t absolutely need to survive, even if they suffer as a result.
