The Hare And The Tortoise Board Game Review - Still Worth It?

“Hare and Tortoise” (Parlett) was the first ‘modern’ board game I purchased. That game is very clever but pretty dry too. This one looks light and cute and has echoes of Magical Athlete. I might plunge for this and send you the bill.

Magical athlete is a game I’ve been after for ever. Ended up doing a print and play from a Russian file sharing site but the characters were worse than the players from an unlicensed football video game. A personal tragedy.

Yes it’s crazy. This channel is 10/10 and I’m shocked it hasn’t blown up. It’s freaking hilarious with zero pretense and the profanity puts it over the top. My favorite board game channel period.

Great review of a great little game. The only thing, the if three or four wolf cards are played, it moves that number - 1. I really like this game, and I thoroughly enjoyed this video.

Fun little game. You can play smart, of course you need some luck but i think a smart players wins more when you play multiple games in a row. Like this one.

Hah! Found your BGG profile! I have no idea why I thought finding out you had one was so funny. But congrats on being a featured video reviewer for this game! (And they need to stop featuring Dice Tower as reviewers, they truly are garbage, nothing but bollocks gargling simps who'll debase themselves to shill for anything.) Anyway, what struck me was you highlighting the box. That box looks exactly like the box for Wicked Witches Way (which I happen to think is a fun little game, though the race map (and the race in general) is mostly an unnecessary waste of space -- it's mainly a fun game of speed memory). But the box is what makes that work, and to see that style of box used for something else seemed odd. Asmodee must be stuck with a bunch of them and is looking for excuses to off-load 'em any way they can.
