The way he stared back into the camera expressionlessly after playing that scale faster than the Indy 500🤣🤣🤣😆😭 like OK, powerplay then act like nothing happened, that's fine

Cool scale, sounds a bit sinister from NOT playing the more typical flatted 7th, but instead, the major 7th.

I tried using the Ibanez guitars recently; idk why but for some reason it was so much easier to play fast alternately picking lines on it than my Jackson. Do you know why?

Also super useful for playing over dominant 7th chords in jazz ❤❤❤
@someguy3429 Жыл бұрын
Might be thinking of a different chord or scale. Dominant chords have a major 3rd and a flat 7 while this scale has a minor 3rd and natural 7.

It always bothers me that the second note in minor scale is a major second and not a perfect second

this is not a knock on your technique but how do you play so fast without using your pinky.
@gregbloodworth6000 Жыл бұрын
Watch Andy James play..he hardly ever uses his pinky.
@6ft7guy9 ай бұрын
@@gregbloodworth6000a guitarist who uses their pinky will always be better. Look at buckethead most of his solos require you to use your pinky and buckethead is leagues above Andy james
@gregbloodworth60009 ай бұрын
@Facelessfigure666 Bro I wouldn't say he's leagues above Andy..I was 5 feet from Buckethead in Atlanta and I can tell you probably haven't listened to A lot of Andy's work.. Buckethead is great don't get me wrong..but..
@gregbloodworth60009 ай бұрын
@Facelessfigure666 by the way I am a Guitarist...I use my pinky...the fact is tho it is the weakest link among fingers so anytime you a can use stretches to do the same thing with stronger fingers its probably a good idea.
