An odd recording to place in the Dixie series (Brunswick # 100-601). A popular song with the orchestra playing in a popular style. I wonder who was directing the orchestra. Very classy arrangement, unfortunately ruined by Carson Robison's hillbilly vocal. Would have been perfect with just Frank Luther singing solo.

The flip side is much better, I'll agree with you there. I also checked the 78discography website to try and find what series this was, to no avail. How'd you find out that this was the "Dixie" series? How do you know Carson Robinson is on this record? Did you recognize his voice? If so, who's the other guy singing with him?
