I'm not a "believer" in the faith, but can connect with the ghostly sentiments which well within these beautiful voices expressing the inexpressible except in terms of beauty and love. How the experience of the middle passage and centuries of slavery and injustice can be transformed at last into a rendition of beauty is an immortal testament to the power of redemption. There is hope for the human species on this planet of a minor star in a minor galaxy among a hundred billion others. Love!

It took me so long to find a version that was this authentic and genuine. This really speaks from the soul. The soul of an oppressed people that will forever rise until every black and white man and woman alike will see each other as true brothers and sisters.
