This was such a great beginning, even Jim Carreys facial expressions are so perfect to me, when he was really quiet in a great way!

Great way to start the picture. I think this movie is vastly underrated.

Totally agree and I think it's easily his best film and maybe one of the most perfect films ever made 🙏

And they want a dog with attitude. He's edgy, he's "in your face." You've heard the expression, "let's get busy"? Well, this is a dog who gets "biz-zay!" Consistently and thoroughly. Then, the dog needs to be louder, angrier, and have access to a time machine. Two, whenever the dog's not on screen, all the other characters should be asking "Where's the dog"?

This is how so many great movies have been butchered over the years

Great opening but when I first saw this movie on tv I missed the first 10 minutes of him as a writer so I started it right before he's about to drive across the bridge. The rest of the movie it had me thinking "Ok is this guy Luke or not? If he has amnesia where has he been before this? Maybe it was in that first 10 minutes I missed." When it was revealed he's not Luke I was surprised, if this was edited differently still involving the communist investigation it could have been way better

I think that was the point - you're not given enough information about him to know if he was Luke or not. I liked that element.

I know these voices... who are they?

You might know them, for sure! Garry Marshall with his Bronx accent, Carl and Rob Reiner, Sydney Pollack and Paul Mazursky! All veterans figures of Hollywood: truly a great and fun idea to put emphasis on their voices and on Jim's face:)

@Jarred Knox Some of them I recognized and I then checked the credits on IMDB: they're all there as "Studio Executive" :)

Why so much rhetoric?! Cats and dogs would be better. Why so mean? ...just a dog!
