Jimmy Carey can play serious roles when he wants to but I feel jim carey has evolved since he got older. He no longer takes his career so seriously as he use to when he did turn into a dramatic actor. I think he is just going with the flow now which is good and I think ultimately good for his mental health cause he has had some serious mental issues in the past decade and I think it has had to do with his fame.

I'm pretty sure when Jeff Daniels says "I'll bet no one's said that about you" and Jim says, "Hey!" that is a reference to Tommy Lee Jones in Batman, when the movie was first starting up Jim was eating at the same restaurant as Tommy so I guess Jim went up to his table to introduce himself and say what a big fan he was and Tommy snapped back something like, "I don't like you, I don't care for you, I can't stand your buffoonery..."
