I will get my Phaze 2 Roto Grip today and have it drill soon. This will be my first Asymmetrical ball since I increased my ball speed and rev rate. Also, I like the fact this ball is a hybrid between solid and pearl that is a two piece to be used on medium to heavy oil lane conditions. I always bowl with Lane Masters, Legends, Lord Fields, Visionary and Swag which the latter is actually Lane Master which will take over the former and be Swag for now on. The reason for the switch is the Swag site has been down post end of the sale promotion and I needed fresh equipment to use in tournaments only. I also bought a Hustle B/R/Y too for dryer lane conditions.

I just switched from Motiv to Storm. So far I'm very impressed. I have limited balls right now. Phase 2, I.Q. Tour, Revenant, Lighting Blackout. But I'm really enjoying them.

I love this! While i truly believe that most of the major brands make some high quality stuff, i do find i migrate to the SPI brands most of the time (with an occasional Hammer), so I'm looking forward to seeing some ball reviews from you in the future! That being said, i think those would be some pretty awesome videos for you to make.....ball reviews on these "new" balls (genuinely new or just new to you). I'd love to get your modern takes on classics like the Phaze II and IQ Tour as well as some others that have come out over the past year or so (Ion Pro, Phaze AI, Ion Max, Attention Star, etc). As it is, all that there is out there are old ball reviews from the same guys. Fresh, new reviews on some of these balls that aren't tainted by new release hype would be awesome.

To be honest Andrew it wouldn't matter if you threw a ball from the Fred Flintstone line, I'd still be a fan. The move was correct considering what you did in Houston. The grip change is coming along nicely. Not so sure about true oval yet. The scariest part was trusting that my thumb won't stick now that I have it properly in the ball. Grateful!!!!!!

I live in the heart of storm products, an i am I motiv fan myself alot because everyone is bowl around has a storm product. No hate or disrespect they make good products an i have friendships with alot of storm staffers, definitely understand and 100% respect doing whats better for you an your future. I'm a fan of bowling balls in general, but I do feel that both brunswick and SPI have more of a variety then Motiv, even though the lineup Motiv has are still great. Good luck on the change!

SPI has the big $$$$$ to throw around for staffers. Getting to meet and bowl with you back in the EBI days was fun, and your switch to Motiv really saw you grow further. Funny that when you left EBI for Motiv, I went to SPI and then to Motiv. Now on that free agent life 😂

I definitely have enjoyed more balls from Storm than any other company thus far. I think each brand has their own little trademark shape that they bring to the game. I have an eternity, which i absolutely love. Its not really meant for it but when the pattern gets a bit dry and super narrow i know i can missle it near the middle and itll turn left just before the pins to slam them

More the 3/4 of the equipment is made by one brand...doesn't matter anymore. The sport will die as soon as Brunswick gets bored and sells the ALL of the equipment, the lanes, the tv rights, and the league. Have fun whilst ya can boys. We LET this happen.

I guess this is the difference between a pro and me myself a 1 day a week league no pro bowler but I know enough about my equipment and how it reacts and relates to my game but I don't really care about brand preference...I throw all different ones and whichever works the best that night or week, so be it...I don't just have all Storm stuff or etc., and I'm not dealing with sponsors that make me use their stuff so I guess I have that edge on my competition. I can see where it is harder for a pro to make this choice as you have to throw that brand...

What determines which logo you wear? Obviously there are 3 that you could wear with that company, but do you pick or the ball reps or what determines that? I have always been curious on that question.

When I'm at demo day I try to see which types of ball lines up with me the best whether or it is asym symmetrical etc some balls won't match up to you no matter what it's interesting to me about ball technology etc
