Saar's growth has been hampered in recent years due to his frequent switching between organizations. From Real Madrid's development system to the Ignite, he went on to lounge-play in Australia for a year rather than returning to his homeland and joining one of the more competitive French League teams. As a result, he is currently behind in his development and was picked based primarily on potential. The Wizards fans should be patient, as he will most likely need a season or two, if not longer, to break out. Until then, expect plenty more hiccups on the court from him.

Wizards aren’t doing anything this year so he has time to develop. 0-15 means nothing because we’re simply not going anywhere or doing anything special . He could score 100 in summer league and still wouldn’t mean shit. What if he score 70 next game would your opinion change? I’m betting it would.

Sarr should average six points on offensive rebounds. Six points from rolling in the dunker position. And 4 from fast breaks. Meaning a 7 footer with his size, speed and athlleticism should at least get Clint Capella type points....but he isnt!

His ceiling is high enough to warrant the 2nd pick. Nobody is drafted based on what they can do now. It’s all about what you can do in the future. He’s a developmental piece on a rebuilding team. I can see if wizards had a chance at anything great or special but we don’t . Let guys develop
