People fell for the media hype. Guys like Shaq hyped him up to be better than Wemby and casuals ate it up. Anyone with an ounce of basketball IQ and doesn’t look at just highlights can see that he has glaring issues in his game that hurts him in the pros. Despite his height, he’s a tree on defense, no post game, inconsistent, can’t pass, and his work ethic is lacking. The fact that people (even some NBA players) were saying him and Wemby are on the same level is laughable. Their body frames are similar but Wemby’s skills are levels above Bol’s and it’s not even close. Ironically, he’s playing like a 44th overall draft pick.

A bus is someone who doesn’t live up to their potential. Bol Bol had a lot of potential he hasn’t lived up to it and he was drafted so therefore he’s a bust. Also, he had more hype than any other second round pick ever had imo
@tremplearsen99383 ай бұрын
Being picked at the second round means there is little to no expectation for a potential. Maybe in your own view he had but from an objective point of view, he definitely had very little. So in the eyes of most NBA scouts, coaches and GMs, he didn’t. Just because you are drafted doesn’t automatically mean everyone has a high expectation of you. And hype has nothing to do with being a bust. A bust entirely falls on the draft position. And in his case being a second rounder which means…. Little to no expectation. That’s what most of us see in him. He ain’t superstar material so he shouldn’t be seen as such. The fact that he was drafted in the second round proves that point in the first place

Suns Coach Frank Vogel doesn't utilize BOL BOL 's minutes properly. Bol Bol is a Unicorn Unique Basketball Player. There's that many of Hybrid position of Point Center. He's projected to be a Center because of his height. You also mentioned it in this video. "That Bol Bol has the Defensive Blocks like his father and the Handles like Kyrie." I actually believe that Bol Bol is more of a Point Forward because of his size and weight. I gladly disagree with you on Bol Bol being a Bust. Frank Vogel finally started to have some sense and started to utilize Bol Bol more as Durant's Back up. Yes Defensively he needs to adjust to rotations and defensive positions needs improving. Add some muscle and he can be more impactful than Giannis. Chet n Wemby can't dribble like Bol Bol. Bol Bol is in a league of his own. It takes the right organization, coaches and GMs to see that. I will go there too. Bol Bol is dark skinned and now has dreadlocks. I believe there is some gate keeping going on there too. Bol Bol has been training with Kevin Durant and there's been improvements. Once he gets Defense improvements? Bol Bol will be unstoppable. Where the league is going. A team will need a Bol Bol to combat against a Wemby, Chet , and more taller hoopers in the future ‼️

Promote Wemby ,Jokic ,Chet, & Sangun. Limit the Dark Skinned Monster so he can't develop into what he has potential to be. Put on some muscle, get his defensive positions and defensive footwork. Even those who were anti Bol Bol are now on the bandwagon of his obvious talent. He was merely born a few shades too dark. And his father had political issues, but his talent has beat the test of time of the politics. Chet and all the other unicorns got the red carpet 1 year automatic playing time pass treatment, except Bol Bol.

Yall all full of it at this point. The truth is Bol Bol came in at a time where that Wemby ish wasn't cool for a center to be doing. They looked down on dude for playing like a wing. Fast forward Wemby same style and they market it. Because the league desperate at this point. They still not sold on that playstyle for a center fully. Chet another guy they're trying to cover up talent. He also doing Wemby and Bol type things. But the league not going to promote this to heavy. It will cause a shift in the game, that could ultimately ruin it for good. Imagine majority of centers playing like Wemby. Dont think it aint possible. Even Anthony Davis was a guard growing up. They forced him into being a PF/C. He even talked about his upbringing. Bust is just the narrative so it can only be one Wemby. But the truth still remains Bol Bol was doing that playstyle already.
