@@TalkingToAWall Based on stats, Caitlin Averaged 19.2 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 8.4 apg, and 1.3 spg. Meanwhile, the MVP, A’ja Wilson averaged 26.9 ppg, 11.9 rpg, 2.3 apg, 1.8 spg, and 2.6 bpg. There are other players that are just better than her, but it’s only her first year so I don’t know you expect. But I wouldn’t be surprised if she wins the MVP by her third year in the WNBA.

Angel sucks and managed a double double, and that never before seen run. I watch her game and just cringe and how bad she looks. She's definitely beautiful and will achieve great heights if she's able to pair some game with her look. She just needs to improve her shooting and touch around the hoop and it can be a great rivalry, which would be great for the league... CC still has room to improve and if she becomes deadlier from range it will be a lot more fun. Just seems like too much time off between seasons...

Her passing and play-making is even better than her shooting. She racked up 19 assists in one game. Before this season the WNBA had seen only a total of less than 30 triple doubles in its entire history. That's an average of about one per season. Clark put up two triple doubles in the season, and a few other near-triple doubles.

Thank you for this excellent video. Like many I knew nothing about the WNBA until I stumbled across a few youtube videos with highlights of Caitlin Clark plays. Her talent is extraordinary. She can score from anywhere on the court. She controls the ball equally well with either hand. Amazing passing with incredible precision - whether a long-distance pass or a behind-the-back bounce pass. And unlike several WBNA players, she exhibits good sportsmanlike conduct on and off the court. The WBNA needs to get rid of about 1/3 of its players - and all of the corrupt refs. Too many play dirty, and too many scream racism. There are too many flagrant fouls where the refs look the other way - or they look with a blind eye and silently cheer the offender. Caitlin Clark is here to play clean professional basketball - and that is what attracts fans. Too many other players are there to play dirty full-contact roller derby - and that is what turns fans off.

She could inspire a whole generation of girls to play hoops, who want to learn to shoot and pass like she does. And people will undoubtedly stick around and see other great players in the league as well. You need people like CC who come in and are just doing things you never seen before. It grows the game. People will literally be practicing and growing skills that they never did before because the bar has been raised. And controversial take, I'd rather see CC taking beyond NBA 3's and making them, than a girl bigger than anybody else miss 5 layups and get all those rebounds

I'm used to NBA speed/talent so when I watch the WNBA it's like watching little kids struggle to hit layups, and when I watch CC you can tell she's better. She looks more NBA then WNBA, and she will hopefully get better as in faster and more efficient and thus separate herself further from them. What also works against the others is when Angel Reese who looks so bad is commenting anything regarding CC. Hopefully Angel takes basketball seriously becomes a female like Julius randle and creates a nice rivalry. Both need to continue to improve their respective games. I do think that the options that Angel has or perhaps her interests might not line up with basketball. Where CC just seems like a gym rat. We will see what becomes of their respective careers.

Of all the names mentioned at the beginning of this video, CC is unique in that it is the media that is actually suppressing positive coverage of her. When the others were rising, it was largely the media that was running cover for them. Emphasizing each new box score, analyzing and explaining just why what you watched was so historic and making excuses for them (I.e. LeBron just needs more help). The content is there, ripe for the taking. CCs numbers are even more impressive when you consider she’s been picked up full court, roughed up, double teamed etc whereas past rookies didn’t have to go through that. Give her a good franchise with a solid coach and some HOF veterans and it gets bananas

@@Christo_TrismegistusDrummond is a good comp. AR might have the worst finishing skills around the basket I've seen a professional player have. But she is a rookie as well and there's no denying with advanced stats like net rating, ability to run the floor at her size, and really elite rebounding she stands to have a very successful WNBA career. What's crazy to me is CC shooting 34%, respectable WNBA shooting percentage, at super high volume, from beyond NBA range, as a rookie.

@@RandomUsersRandomAccountOnly thing wrong with the comp, and it’s pretty significant, is that Drummond averaged 60% from the field his rookie season. As a big, her averaging 39% from the field is really, really bad. If she averaged 60% from the field her rebounding numbers wouldn’t be nearly as high. She’s an inherently flawed player that can’t shoot and can’t finish at the rim. Any big in the NBA that couldn’t shoot and had bad efficiency at the rim would be out of the league within a couple of years.

they will never talk about her negatives, its always like this... Angel is the devil and Clark is god to them. anything angel does is not real ,does not exist or should not have happened but everything clark does is supposed to happen or its someone else fault. that's why AB and most of the fever had to get off of social media. the constant harassment by her fans. even though she isn't shooting well from 3 and has historic turnover rates. so much so that she broke the wnba record for turnovers in the first 20 games. not a rookie record... a wnba record lmao. She plays absolutely no defense and is a big reason they lost to the suns in the playoffs. she was constantly not guarding her man which lead to mabrey just hitting them from 3 all game.. she isnt consistant at all but she can shoot deep so people care more about that i guess. she has no midrang jumper, no floater and she cant layup or is uncomfortable laying up on her left side. she also gives up during games she feels she can't win. you can see it how she plays and her face during those times but hey she can really beat a chair lmao.

In an interview in the 90s, Wilt said every single player in the NBA should give 10% of their salary to Michael Jordan because he's the one putting eyes on the product and butts in seats. Just saying.

It kinda worked out like that. MJ signed a $30 million contract for 1 season. The rationale behind the "balloon" payment is the fact that the NBA and the Bulls made so much money during MJ's previous years that it was a late payment for his presence and contribution.

Mj literally got a 30 million dollar deal in 1998 where the salary cap was around 25 million he literally got more than the cap. That would be like a player earning 200 million a year in the modern NBA.

Shame to see such a toxic comment section after a well done video on CC and the WNBA. Caitlin being a generational talent doesn’t mean the rest of the league sucks! You guys should watch the rest of the playoffs and see for yourselves 🤦🏼‍♂️

this is a terrible take. Hate is a strong word. Players don't hate CC. Those veteran professional players have self-respect and simply resent and despise CCs toxic, disrespectful, deranged, sociopath fans.

@@b0nz0beavis she’s already got several other players attempting 28ft shots. They’ll emulate her but I think it’ll be a while before they can do it as good as she does. Her teammates are even attempting to pass like her. She’s gonna elevate the women’s game like Jordan did the NBA.

@@Thomas998822I’m getting tired of this bs deflection. Admit that y’all hate her and don’t use the “fans” as a crutch. Because if they defend themselves y’all will say “see they bad blah blah” and if they don’t they just gotta sit there and take it from you so called “fans”. Caitlin came in and got all the attention and most fans like her style of play but of course the HATERS will never admit it and just cry racism to her fans but completely ignoring the racism that’s been blatant towards Clark this whole season.

It's just funny to watch women complain about how no one supports women sports, Clark shows up & those same women complain about how she sucks, overshadows other women, & hasn't done anything for the sport. Personally I could care less about basketball, especially women's ball, but the double standard and constant nagging is hilarious.
