I feel that consistency in making the playoffs and reaching the finals should be considered in a players legacy. While of course raising the trophy is ultimately the final goal, to be at a level where you are consistently beating the best to compete is also an accomplishment in of its self.

If you only have one (Dallas)or the other (Sacramento) the margins get so slim that you can only make a rare run because you don't have the capacity to over come anywhere near as much. Luka can have a 48-13-15 Playoff Game & hit a crazy game winner to get you a game, but at some point you gotta have other guys that can step up in a best of 7. Likewise, you can play amazing team ball & steal some games, but when Jokic takes over in the 4th, you gotta have a guy that can match him.
