One can only hope Bret made "peace" with Vince to become whole again. But it begs the questions: why did the police continue not take action at the scene of a potential murder scene? Why would he shake hands with a man who wouldn't let his brother out of his contract, yet released his relatives from their contracts with ease? Owen might still be alive & with his family had it not been for another's selfishness, vindictiveness, & ego

@@Dr._P._Enis I think Owen was more complete. He had the mat skills and flying techniques (that Bret didn’t have). Owen was more entertaining, and WOW one of the best heels. Yet most wrestlers would say they had their best match against Bret. Bret had lots and lots of memorable, classic matches. And Bret could wrestle three different matches in one night. I love them both. My favourite era was the New Generation. I liked the Attitude Era less, because there was a lot of brawling in stead of pure wrestling. Bret’s classic matches like vs Mr Perfect 2x, R. Piper, Bulldog 2x, Austin 2x, Diesel, even 123 kid, vs Owen, Undertaker, are hard to surpass. Just to mention a few. I liked and enjoyed them both, but Owen was more complete.

I head of Teddy Hart's issues backstage...never seen his matches
@josephgrace59552 жыл бұрын
That is hard to say. Teddy could do flippy well, but his actual storytelling was weak when left to him- his best matches were mostly due to his opponents progressing the in-ring story along and leaving the jaw dropping spots to Teddy. And it doesn’t help that others did his same style and either on the same level as Teddy or even better. The Young Bucks, Ricochet and eve his own partner Jack Evans just to name a few. The real sad truth is the name Hart opened doors and Teddy didn’t keep it together enough to grow and benefit from it. Teddy lacked the skill of Bret, the charm of Owen, and he didn’t even have the precision of Tyson Kidd and he could only dream of having the promo skills of Pillman. Teddy had the last name that could open doors but was too full of himself to grow and be professional
@thecharmcityplayerbrandona88272 жыл бұрын

@josephgrace59552 жыл бұрын
@@thecharmcityplayerbrandona8827 So not true. Look back at Sabu and RVD. Or for better or worse, New Jack and his suicide dives. Or again, I would argue that Jack Evans could do anything Teddy could but do it cleaner. And a young Jack Evans playing his white kid gangster gimmick cut a better promo than Teddy. And I am not sure if it was due to him actually being concussed from botches or if he was just that good of an actor, but ROH era Jack Evans could get busted open and make a beating look as horrific as Spike Dudley could in ECW. Don’t get me wrong, Teddy was flashy and athletic but he really should of pumped the breaks a little and get humble enough to not just try to be the high spot of the match but be as good of a story teller and well rounded of a wrestler as his last name implied.

It is crazy how after the screwjob in 1997 the hart family as a whole took a nose dive in a lot of ways. Bret not being booked well in Wcw and leaves then hit with the stroke. Davey boy injured then dies. Owen dies. Stu dies. Their mum dies. The family pretty much gets divided (it was divided from before but after 1997 hell went lose). Which is very crazy and it is hard to blame it on Shawn or Vince. True they pulled a shitty move but Bret was already moving Wcw with or without the screw job.
