I'm definitely one of the ones that say Goldy is responsible for the Attitude Era. Next to Undertaker, Goldust is one of the greatest "characters" of wrestling. Certified future Hall of Famer. Number 2 on my all time favorites list

It's a little sad to learn that all three Rhodes were estranged from each other at certain points in their lives. At the very least, Dusty (God rest his soul) can rest easy knowing his sons have a better relationship and are making their marks in the wrestling world. That being said, one can only wonder how things would have worked out if Dustin had resolved his daddy issues sooner. Cause of the age gap and being half-siblings, Dustin and Cody never truly connected until after the latter chose to become a wrestler, and even then, it took another few years before they actually worked a program together.

Hands down Goldust was one of the most innovative and groundbreaking gimmicks in wrestling history. And only Dustin could have pulled it off. Rhodes family have cemented their legacy. Only time will tell if the legacy will continue with a new generation taking over.

Dustin Cody both got Dustys eye features . Dustin more so than Cody . Also id laugh my ass off if WWE makes Cody wear polka dots lol ! Dustys 70s psychedelic gear would be funny too ! If he DOES go , i hope they treat him right . There will never be another Dusty , What a legend ! So unique with his look and promo style , he has left a mark on wrestling that will never be forgotten ! His sons too , but not as much as Big Dust ! Theyve both been incredible though for stepping out of his shadow and excelling !! Hard sometimes for 2nd gen grapplers to do .

Referring to Dusty as a writer is dreadfully incorrect. He was JCP’s Booker/Match Maker he did not write out shows like a Vince Russo or a WWE Creative team. There is huge difference between the two and we can see the effects of “writers” in wrestling with how the business is today.

Looking at his families history I think that's what the Runnels do whether by choice or circumstance, I don't think the Runnels call any wrestling company home.
