Again with the "I never agree with Smith" as usual. It IS a meritocracy, just at a different scale with a different goal. You consider $50 million alone as success, at the expense of dignity and usually trauma, as well as the extreme danger of people being obsessed with you. Meanwhile the people who actually put unreasonable, extreme amounts of work in aren't making millions, they're making billions, without the same issues.
