Hateful Eight is definitely Tarantino's most underrated movie . Of course Pulp Fiction & Reservoir dogs are 1 and 2 , but I would put Hateful Eight somewhere in my top 5 . Shot beautifully , All-star cast , and the dialogue is so good. That scene with Samuel L. Jackson telling General Smithers how he killed his son was classic Tarantino dialogue , and Walton Goggins as Sheriff Chris Madix was hilarious. Movie had comedy , action , drama , and mystery , so idk why it's in the bottom half of a lot people's favorite Tarantino films ?

Seriously, fuck this political correctness bullshit. In particular in the world of art and entertainment. The more this social critic gets power the less creative our artists can be. This is why I love Tarantino films, because they're unapologetic and tell a story without the hindrance of being forced to be "softer" just to be "socially correct" Scorsese and Tarantino are both one of the few real writers and film makers for adults these days.

+Namu Kim Ha, just what I was going to say. I would argue that Tarantino is always PC. His movies always cheers on the underdog, and never is there injustice without reason. Politically incorrect would be casting a token colored/female character that dies first, or has no lines, or is a stereotype. Tarantino respects people, and would never do that.

You know you can just call it eyeliner. Eyeliner is not just for girls/women, just saying.

Just recently watched this movie and the uncut director's version also recently. Sometimes I think Jennifer Jason Leigh is so under-rated as an actress. She did an amazing job holding her own as a villain/Daisy, in this movie with all the guys. And she was just as nasty and hateful as the rest of them. And the way Kurt pulls the chair out for her to sit down at the beginning.

Michael Madsen is basically Joe Gage in real life.

Some of the most beautiful shots I've ever seen on film are at the beginning of this movie even if you weren't lucky enough to see the rolling 'set version' of its release. I'm a new fan of 70mm.
