I think the characters recognize each other because they are like the actors playing them - quite famous; and Tarantino often bends the rules, makes things unreasonable, because they add to the theme or a point being made. In fact, the more famous the character, the more famous actor playing it. I think it is one of these meta things of Tarantino.

Sir, high or not, you do not question Quintin. Every shot is exactly as it should be, not too long, not too short, only 3.6 rontgen, not great, not terrible.

A lot of these main characters were written so good and interesting I could imagine them having their own movies

If QT was a money-hungry MFer he would've made (or hired others to make) so many people out of side characters in his movies · A prequel to Reservoir Dogs · Vega Brothers movie · Deadly Viper Assassination Squad movie (or TV show or anime) · Several movies about the people in this one · Etc

Movie reminds me of that one game which I forgot the name of Something about you trying to solve a crime scene that happened in such a herbyjerby house (Too lazy to fix up) You look at the bodies, use photos to pin who killed who and travel back in time to see what happened. Some blanks you had to fill out yourself and think through peoples' motivations Pretty nice game tbh, short but interesting

Return of the Obra Dinn? It's set on a ship, not in a house, but I can't think of any other games that are similar to what you're describing.
@NekoEchoflower2 жыл бұрын
@@genuinesaucy I don't think that's it. The game I'm thinking about is happening in a wild west inn, but it's in the middle of winter

2:38 Sammy J looks light a straight up Bloodborne character in this shot, and now it makes me really wish Bloodborne had scarves for some of the clothing options.

Yeah only a few things in this movie bothered me and that was drawing so much attention to Minnie despising Mexicans only for her to not even remark when one walks through the door; and having not one but TWO professional bounty hunters AND a sheriff not recognize the 3 prominent criminals in the room. Bullet physics and all the other stuff I could ignore but that bothered me.
@sydssolanumsamsys2 жыл бұрын
maybe they aren't prominent. the one who definately would be is hiding underneath

They didnt recognise them because there playing characters and they belong to a gang. Usually its the gang leader that everyone knows which is why hes hiding under the floor instead of trying to blend in
