That is one great haul . It has been a while since you have found chocolate cake and bread and alot of meat. I think if you take something really sweet and put it a little away from the dumpster, you might lure the bees over to that. Make sure you uncover it, of course.

Ugh. It's that time of year; our flying friends are way too numerous. I have a problem with wasps/hornets, but protect honey bees.....they aren't the ones circling the dumpsters. Not allergic but a swarm will make me think twice. Hang in there Frugal Daddy! They may also be a sign that there are many sweet goodies in there to salvage. Just having enough food to be able to share would make me feel very wealthy....and I can always find another pair of shoes in the dumpster.

Yeah, shrink wrap protects it much longer, even when not in refrigerator. Can last a good day or 2 sometimes.

When I get those salad kits like the sunflower seed kit on sale I buy them and stir fry the greens in them with what ever you want. What ever you like in your stir fry. So good
