In the spirit of Halloween, I embarked on a thrilling adventure to explore Singapore's Tanglin Halt estate. This historic public housing estate, located in Queenstown, is about to undergo a major transformation. The redevelopment plans include the addition of new amenities such as a hawker center, market, and polyclinic within a fresh development. This project is set to provide approximately 5,500 new flats, increasing housing options for residents.
However, what makes this exploration particularly intriguing is the recent viral buzz on the internet. Since the residents moved out, reports of paranormal activity and ghostly encounters within the unoccupied blocks have circulated widely. Singaporean KZbinrs have ventured into this eerie environment, capturing doors mysteriously opening and closing on camera.
In my Halloween-themed video, I ventured to witness these occurrences firsthand. Using special effects to enhance the experience, I embarked on a journey through this unoccupied estate to capture the spine-chilling atmosphere. Unlike typical videos, this one doesn't feature any music.
As Tanglin Halt estate undergoes redevelopment, it's essential to preserve its rich history and heritage, ensuring that it continues to be a vibrant, livable, and resilient community for future generations.

I used to live at Blk 55. This video sure brings back lots of memories, especially the old hawker centre where they used to sell Bak Ku Teh with chinese tea.

Nonsense Tanglin Halt is not haunted. I spend my childhood days growing up in Blk 43 and also ran a Hawker store at the Hawker center. Tanglin Halt resident are all early 1960 Pioneers generation. Many were relocated there after the Bukit Ho Swee fire. But Friendly spirit are a plently as most of the senior passed away their spirit came back for a visit. My neighbour once sought our clalification as he saw a Indian man at night standing at his kitchen balcony. it was the first owner who emigrated to India and died there so his spirit came back for a visit. Even my own grandmother who passed away also occassionally come back for a visit so I should says they are all friendly and known spirit not out to haunt and create trouble. The lady who died in Mcdonald House bombing during the Indonesia confrantation also reside in Tanglin Halt. So if you dont distrub these spirit they wont do any harm to you,

Do you know the meaning of haunted? Here are definitions as given by 2 dictionaries. inhabited or frequented by ghosts to visit or inhabit as a ghost Or do you think haunted means grouchy spirits throwing a tantrum? Anyway I'm surprised in this day and age, city dwellers who are supposedly well read and informed still believe in ghosts. Like the vaccine commercials say, trust the science, down with misinformation, and all that jibber-jabber.

I don't know about Singapore, but the ghosts in Thailand.... FUIYOH. Watch The Medium. That is a flipping heart attack scary movie. That being said, those who are into haunted tall buildings might want to look up Sungai Pari Towers.

Crap! Tanglin Halt is just one of the earliest Housing estates built during the 60s and 70s thats all! Many Singaporeans spent their childhood days there after their family were vacated from their kampongs! The market there happen to sell the most delicious food! There are some emptied flats as you seen here because these flats are to be demolished for rebuilding into new flats very soon thats all! this is a fake video!
