I'm pretty sure finding someone's "key" is basically how to manipulate them. After that whole priest story, we learned Miles was trying to get home. He tried jumping from the tree, choking the other student, then the bird. Even then, the priest was still trying to help Miles, until he refused to show remorse. So I think the "key" in this instance was trying to get that priest to give up on him, and agree to send him home.

Another great reaction guys! ^^ Loving how you DO catch the little moments Dani and Jamie have. also really enjoying your theories, you'll get your answers eventually, and as for Miles and the "keys" talk she had with the priest, it's not a spoiler, these were just my thought about it after the episode, what i think he was talking about was that he was trying to find the thing that would make him send Miles home, he tried "having an accident" and getting hurt, like his classmate that was missing from class at the beggining of the episode, but that didint' work, he tried getting into a fight, but that didn't work either, so... he tried something more extreme.

I get why you guys keep theorizing that the parents ghosts may have something to do with the storyline but as Peter Quint said they didn't die on the grounds and as Uncle Henry said in the very first episode they died abroad meaning not on the grounds lol
