What camera setup do you use for the driving sections? Is it a dashcam or a camera mounted on a tripod? I bought a Jobi suction cup mount for a GoPro and did a test with it today. Works allright for side angles when the camera is pointing at me for talking sections but the windscreen view needs a more central camera position. How do you do this, and how do you get it so steady and shock free?
@mrmattandmrchay5 жыл бұрын
My dashcam I rarely use, as the image and audio quality isn't as good as my action cameras. Also the file format is not as 'friendly' as the action cameras when editing. I have recently bought the GoPro 7 Black as a better replacement to the Gitup2 which I still use from time to time. In this video I'm using the Gitup2 to film the 'driving' sections. At the time, the Gitup2 had the best stabilisation from all the budget range of action cameras (providing you have enough light that is - doesn't work too well in low light). In the car it's just on a favourite mini-tripod of mine, held down by whatever I could lay my hands on! I don't like the suction cups as the camera position is not as flexible as using a tripod facing the windscreen. The tripod is easy to remove and replace as the tripod I use is fairly unique and holds it's shape, so you can put it back and it's spot-on where it was before. Also, with the tripod resting on the top of a cushioned dashboard top, this takes out any vibrations which would otherwise transfer from the glass to the suctioncup on a windscreen. Hope that helps :)

That's unknown really - think of the summer 32 degrees, down to -5 degrees in the winter (multiplied by many years), wind, rain, snow and an exposed junction box. Corrosion? I'd be very surprised if that heater still works, and surely if the heater is maintained it wouldn't have taken much to put a lid back on?

Post Code for you is for us in America an Address with Zip code. A Zip code (obviously) is a five number code telling the mailing service which city you live in without saying the name
@simontay48515 жыл бұрын
Why are they called zip codes in america?
@notfirefox5995 жыл бұрын
@@simontay4851 I don't know. I think it has something to do with how we say "mail" more often here whereas (not offensively) people in the UK say "post". So a post code there is for post is equal a zip code here for mail.

@@LukiRudaka Yes they do. This is an older GP12. It's got the exact same rotor and stator design, control box, stator front plate, motor placement, motor junction box placement, motor flanges, motor mount, and more. Carter, and Castle Castings both used slanted rotor vanes on their sirens. They also both had longer rotors and stators relative to their diameter. To add to that, both of them had extremely different bases.
