Hey I took the same hayabusa from twic just two days ago Oct 2017. I could exactly relate with your feelings on all aspects such as feeling like a kid and ease of filtering in traffic except for the wrist pain. After riding 100km with two break I started stopping every 20km cause of wrist had the whole body weight on it.
