A description of the healing baths in Lourdes from a personal encounter

I've visited the baths at Lourdes three times. The whole process is so reverently and modestly done. The ladies who help put you at your ease. There will be someone with French, someone with English and maybe a couple of other languages, plus the phrases they need for languages further afield. You are dry before you finish dressing. I put my socks in my pocket last time, but the lady said no I had to put them on before leaving the changing area! All is done to perfection. The prayers being said in the waiting areas are beautiful and so heartfelt and I came out energized and glowing. If you get the chance, take it!

Immersion in healing bath was a touching experience I had last week at Lourdes, France. You're completely dry without using a towel . It's amazing.

6861Charley I had to go their twice and I may have to go back their and my heavenly mother would want me to go their if I’m out of Holy water because that holy water helps me with the Seizers and I could die if I have to many seizures and I could die but I’m still alive and holy water is helping me and it’s curing me and I drink holy water and my family is preying for me to get well and help kill my seizures and like I said if I have two many seizures I could die as well so the holy water is helping me out and I’ve been to Lourdes

Thank you for sharing this beautiful experience. I visited the Sanctuary in September, 2017 and actually experienced a Marian apparition at the candlelight on both nights of my pilgrimage. Our Lady of Lourdes appears in the sky praying over the procession. You can see videos I posted which show my pictures as well as a short video clip.

It’s free , you don’t pay anything.. you have option to donate .. I just came back from Lourdes , Sept 7, 8 (Mother Mary’s birthday) until Sept 11, it was the most profound experience.. As I entered the bath , the lady had me wash my face .. my tears just kept pouring ..I felt Our Heavenly Mothers presence, her love , it’s beyond words to explain it .. I’ve been suffering with eczema on my feet ..for 3 years , different medicines the doctor prescribed, I was suffering, I prayed to Our Lady to intercede for me ..my feet are better .. As long as I live I’ll be going back there to attend her birthday Sept 8

I'm in New Zealand, but unfortunately at the moment I don't have enough money to afford the trip, but would love to go ' at the drop of the hat'.....When I do go , God willing, I will make use of the baths and the spring water, and retrace all of Bernadette's footsteps as well as I can, from the Boly mill to the Cachot, the grotto of Massabielle and the convent at Nevers, singing the Immaculate Mother's Aves! If we want to really encounter the true spirit of Lourdes point i.e. the forgiveness and healing of Jesus Christ, we must surrender our lives to Him completely (and hold nothing back) and ask to be filled with His Spirit. If we are not baptised we should consider it and for any serious sins after baptism, we should go to the Sacrament of Confession for forgiveness.
