A great way to share the looks of the island by adventuring out to survey the Typhoon damaged treasures. Sharing the vibes of the locals tell you that life will go on and that everything will be fine. The food looked very delicious and I could see why you will like living there, I would too. Exploding Marinduque has turned into a very nice series of vlogs. Bye from Central Florida.

Ahh miss that. I remember eating that growing up in the province.. it’s a mashed up cooked unripe Saba banana with sugar and sometimes with coconut If my memory serves me right i think I use to call it nilungay and some calls it nilupak na saging.. Thanks for all the hardwork kyle you have showed us a lot of things about our Country Philippines and the forgotten History of it.. It’s great to learn so many things and be reminded of our past and how beautiful our Country is.. 💜💜💜

never knew pinoy eat unripe saba. my Puerto Rican friends boil it and then eat with olive oil. Or smash it add salt and fry with oil, like potato chips.
@j2yum5 жыл бұрын
Wiz of Oz I don’t know if your foreign or Filipino but yes filipino specially in the province cook/boil/steam unripe saba banana 😉 it has its unique taste also and you can dip it with sugar, caramelise sugar with coconut milk or a more savoury dip which is fermented shrimp paste or even ginamos 👉salted/fermented chopped fish or anchovy fish you can also add some vinegar and chilli for added flavour on the savoury dip) 😊 Boiled Unripe or semi-ripe saba Banana is perfect for nilupak as it gives a more in depth flavour and it doesn’t become slimy when you pound it with mortar then you can add sugar and desiccated coconut or you can mix both boiled ripe and unripe saba banana for Nilupak for a mixture of flavour😊 Nilupak is the one that kyle showed and he was eating it at the early part of this video..

@@j2yum TY. I can't wait to try the food you described, one day! I've had saba/corn with my beef soup dad used to make for us as children. My dad was a very good Ilocano cook.

Wiz of Oz Awk I know how you feel, I’m sure you would love it fingers crossed 🤞Awk Ilocano foods are so good/healthy 😍 lalo na yung pinakbet at denengding which we call them in Bisaya as Law-uy basically sinabawang gulay (variety of different vegetables soup) Ahh my mouth is salivating Thinking about all Those foods I miss those simple life in the province.. And yes in bulalo (Beef Soup ) and even nilagang baboy (Pork stew/soup) saba can be added on them too for sweet flavour.. 😍 Sorry I hope you can understand some tagalog words.. Let me know if you can’t I’ll try and amend it in (English ) for you to understand 😉... #Hashtag I’m getting👉 Nosebleed.. 🤣
