Another great series. Love watching these outback trips, as sadly, due to lack of finances & aging vehicle, I don't think I will be able to enjoy this sort of adventure first hand any longer. 20-30 minutes I find about the ideal episode length...any longer and it becomes difficult to schedule time to watch it in one go. As for how often....understanding the work that has to go into creating the content, whatever works for you is fine with me. Don't let it become such a burden that you feel you have to give it away, as have some other creators that I had followed in the past. A big thumbs up to the channel and the wonderful people behind it.

Hi Jess and Graham, I personally absolutely loved this series, I did this same trip a number of years ago, same places, but in reverse to what you have done. Thanks for the fabulous memories. The Helena and Aurora Ranges are one of my absolute favorite places in the goldfields. I noted the bull dust is still exactly the same lol. I agree with your planning idea to share content in blocks, 20 min vids is long enough to finish a cuppa while watching. Thank you again for the great memories of my own trip. Cheers Debbie.

G'day Graham and Jess Reinders Thank you for taking the time and effort in documenting places across Western Australia that most people may never experience personally, no matter how Adventurous they think they are. Your comment regarding the Iron Ore mining of the H&A Range got me thinking about how fragile a National Park title actually can be, the Rio Tinto Marandoo mine is a prime example of compliant government(s) selling out when there is 'easy money' to be made. Again, thank you both for a genuinely enjoyable series, thanks for letting me 'tag along, without actually leaving the Inland Pilbara. Safe Travels : Joe

Yes very salient point you’ve raised Joe…..if it’s worth anything, I’d like to think, something is better than nothing….so hopefully it the title protects atleast a little.

Jess and Graham. The 20 min contest is great. Weekly fortnight, or whenever. They are easily digested. Great scenery shots and simple life of real camping. No BS like other KZbin content creators. Website is up great.... no shop bro! 😁😄. Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys 👌🏻 - good to hear from you and appreciate the honest feedback…..shop coming soon, the web-man is onto it 👍🏻. Talk soon 😄

Your dedicated followers probably don't care about the length and would relish any longer ones. However, for the general KZbin populous the shorter format may be more acceptable. I suspect folks don't appreciate the time it takes to edit and produce these great videos. Thanks for sharing. Couldn't get your website to load 😔

20 minutes is a better option for most KZbin content. Great content keeps people interested over that time frame. Keep up the Great Adventures.

Great series mate - u've just done the exact trip (as far as overnight stops) that I've been planning to do for our channel later this year 👍 very much looking forward to getting out there again - as for the time frame - I've definitely seen a better response from 20 minute eps rather than the longer ones... ur on the right track - keep up the good work 🍻

Graham, Loved the latest installment. Must admit I like the new format too. Easier to keep with and twenty minutes is great. Keep it up.

Graham What ever you do I’m a follower . The series was a good content . When they get to long it’s hard to keep the content interesting, all the best for the future.

Thanks for all the work you do to bring us these videos. Not only the actual trips, but editing the content is very labor intensive. Personally I prefer the shorter videos that are around 15 - 20 minutes, with an occasional longer one as content dictates. Most of the varied KZbin creators I follow drop content weekly if that is of any help. That view from the top of the range was incredible! 🍻
@great_offroad_adventures2 жыл бұрын
Yeah weekly videos is definitely the most popular schedule, it’s a lot of work but the reward is more promotion from KZbin….I’ve got to find the happy medium of full time work, part time business, trips and then editing for the channel….hence why I can’t do a full weekly schedule

Graham, know it is a big ask but do you have a mud map of this trip. I want to take my son on it next week and show what real camping and overlanding is all about. It would be very much appreciated, thank you..

Really enjoy your videos and I think the shorter videos are a good idea. On the other hand, I still think there’s nothing wrong with the longer video, throw one in every so often. Would like to see some more feedback on the Yeti, looking to buy one very soon.

Was just at these ranges on the long weekend just gone, never been before. Its a great place, lots to see and the camping was great too. Travelling through the mine site was interesting too. The idea of 15 to 20 min videos is a good one, saves having to put crap out for the sake of it just cause. I will say tho, dont just put bout 3 to 5 minutes of "time lapse driving" footage in the videos. There was easily 15 minutes of content to be had in the area of the ranges, that could of filled out the video. My 2 cents.

I do like the idea of shorter 20 min videos on weekly basis. The content was great. Keep up the good work.

I don't know why KZbinrs HAVE to make a new video every week for 52 weeks of the year.Even on telly they don't do this.Just make content when you can and bring it to us.that's why I have subscribed and hit the notification bell....If the content is good my eyeballs will be watching be it 5 minutes 20 or 100...
@great_offroad_adventures2 жыл бұрын
There is alot too it….but in short, to extract the best from the KZbin algorithm you need to be bringing out content frequently…..for example how often do you see content from 1-2-3yrs ago recommended to watch? If I don’t make frequent content, then KZbin stops recommending my videos….people stop watching my videos & channel and my content slips off into oblivion. Now some KZbinrs want to make a living from this, so growing their channel, maximising their views etc is important for them….I work full time, my channel is my hobby, hence why I have a choice…but their is still no point in doing something that my viewers/ subscribers etc don’t like, because they will stop watching & again my content will slip off the radar (algorithm) and get lost in the never never which then begs the question why am I even making and putting up content to begin with. Hopefully all that makes some sense, ultimately I make content to share my travels, encourage others to get out and also entertain my viewers. I’m fortunate I don’t have sponsor obligations or other stuff that I have to have a new video out every week, I can run my own race, do my own thing, but I only think it’s fair I do it in consultation with my viewers.

Thank you for your videos. I'm from the Perth region and you've pointed me in the direction of some great get aways ❤ On this video you've stuck your neck out at the end and asked for feedback so I'm going to apply some shaving cream but leave the razor behind. The audio volume between the action you narrate and the music overlay is too great. To the point it's annoying imo. Not much to complain about really but there you go I've said it (you're not the only channel to do it btw). Keep producing brother 👍👍
