The Heartland Flyer for Hospice Steam Excursion (HD)

On Sunday, May 12th, Steam Incorporated ran the Heartland Flyer Steam Excursion from Wellington to Woodville and return in conjunction with Mary Potter Hospice.
The first leg of the trip, the short jaunt from Wellington to Paekākāriki was hauled by Diesel Locomotive Da1410, with Da345 on the rear. In Paekākāriki, the motive power was switched out and Steam Locomotive Ja1271 took over the train for the rest of the Journey to Woodville.
