Great job making the smart choice! So many people under-estimate the Canyon and wind up in serious trouble. I hope you return and experience more of the Canyon. If you do: Keep the sun off you, using a full brim hat like a Sunday Afternoons Compass hat, and a white, long sleeve, dri-fit shirt, like a Nike Pro-Combat with perforated back and side panels. You'll feel so much better with the sun off your face, neck, shoulders, and arms. Switch out the hiking boots/shoes for something from Vivo Barefoot, like the Primus Trail FG. Having free ankles that can pivot without working against a stiff shoe, as well as REALLY light footwear, is a huge deal when you have to lift your foot up over 10,000 mule step logs and boulders. Switch out your packs to something that has an internal bladder, or like an Ultra-Runner's race pack, that takes a couple large soft flasks up front. You want to avoid the wasted weight of heavier style packs, and the weight of water bottles and metal flasks. All extra weight in the Canyon will really beat you up. Carry a 5hr Energy Drink Bottle as a rescue, just in case! The new name of the Garden is pronounced: "Have-ah-sooo-pie"

I hiked rim to rim to rim in September '22. The first day started at sunrise and 45°f, when I finished the day at Phantom Ranch it was 105°f.

How far the drive from Sedona to Grand Canyon? I am a new fan of your vlogs. Thank for sharing your adventures it help a first timer like me planning to go Sedona and Grand Canyon this year. Any place you recommend to stay would be great. Thank you and more power!❤

According to Google, it's about a 2-hour drive. You'll love both Sedona and Grand Canyon! So much beauty in each place! We personally stayed in Flag Staff in a motel (cheapest option for us). I'm sure there are tons of hotels, airbnbs, and other rental places near either area. Just do a lot of research and plan ahead of time! :)
