I've never held to the dogma that the soul is immortal and can be cast into the eternal, fiery, torturous "Hell". The God who I worship would not create such an eternal nightmare. Thank you SO much for this video. This is a conversation I have tried to have with family, friends and unbelievers. I was missing so many pieces of God's amazing vision. So timely!! I just started reading a short, very clear book on the actual biblical view of heaven - "What If Jesus Was Serious About Heaven?" by Skye Jethani. My mind is blown! I even had to pull out my massive Strong's Concordance to confirm things based on the Hebrew and Greek words, and yes!! It has been there all the time. These last few videos you've posted, coupled with this book I'm reading, have absolutely strengthened my faith! I am literally 3 minutes into this video, and I had to stop and post a comment.

It seems to me, that all of these varying renditions of rapture have in fact for the most part been manufactured by man. I don't believe in the 'left behind' business and never have. This idea of being swept away was/is a very peripheral concept for me personally. I've never worried about it. I worry about the salvation of loved ones and myself and those who're decent people same as myself that i'll never meet in this life. So long as i'm allowed into the Kingdom of God, i'm all set on whatever is coming our way! Praise God Almighty!

I’m aware of many people who view “the rapture” as a deliverance from conditions in earth but they also believe that after He deals with circumstances in Earth, they subsequently spend eternity with Him here on earth. This sounds like a sermon based on anecdotal evidence (as in, “people have said this to me”, people have written me about this”) and then it shifts from what Christian’s seen to believe to what non-Christians think Christians think.

Mackie and Wright definitely making me rethink my theological upbringing and Christian education. I’m thinking more of God as the “force” in the Star Wars saga now and that the spiritual realm is more “real” than the physical world. Totally makes sense. Mackies presentation of repeating melody in the Bible to explain suffering and his newly discovered thoughts on prayer have been tremendously edifying. However…I’m struggling with this concept of Hell. The spiritual “Garden of Eden” presented as our eternal Heaven totally makes sense. But the idea of “Hell” having not been prepared for the Devil and his angels bothers me for some reason. Matthew 25:41 seems to refute this. Most of our knowledge of Hell comes from the teachings of Jesus. There are so many myths and human concepts of Hell…that teaching is all over the place. I guess I just need to make sure I’m not in that place…wherever it is.

I believe Tim addresses your questions beginning around the 53:00 minute mark in the video. He says there’s all kinds of details about hell we want to know that the Bible doesn’t tell us. He uses the same imagery used in Mt 22:1-14 saying those who reject Jesus Christ are cast outside the city (eventually outside the new heaven and Earth) into the outer darkness (hell). However, he focuses his conclusion on the good news of Jesus Christ and not on what hell is.

I think this is the heaviest theology i've ever listened to, haha. Not gonna lie, i've got more understanding to come by to be able to fully get these concepts. Definitely some world breaking stuff is going on here. I've always wondered why the bible says that the kingdom of God is here??? I have always believed that if I made it, so to speak, that I would be here within a perfect earth or new eden. Is it correct to assume the Kingdom of God is of course setup, but it simply hasn't seen a grand opening yet?

But revelations 14:3… I never even knew about any of what God has been showing me over these past 3 years. Numbers are truly an ancient language. God uses them all through the Bible. It seems by default if you prepare a place with many rooms here on earth, that is devoid of Hell and Sin you automatically have prepared an alternative place. The Bible does not teach annihilation. So when Jesus sets up his Kingdom here on Earth uniting Heaven and Earth Together. He will not allow what humans have brought into our present world into his new creation. HIS normal and original plan must be restored. So this area must be a place that is devoid of the goodness and love of God. It must be a place of eternal Sin. A place where one would live in Hell. I.e Sin or Hell. So if someone does not buy into this plan and holds on to this bit of hell, Sin transgession etc. They will not be allowed into the place where Heaven and Earth unite. So where do these souls go? They can not come to the party or marriage banquet. Unless they are cleansed by Christ. They need a whole bath not just a foot washing. Until we come to the Lord. I believe the New world will be exciting, and will show what the original intent and plan of God. We will be useful, now in the Kingdom and later.

At 24:44, you begin the "story" about the sacrifices. You even throw the scapegoat into it, even though the scapegoat is not sacrificed. Jesus had to die on Passover because He IS the Passover lamb. Ever been to a Jewish Seder dinner? The entire Passover is a rehearsal of Jesus's sacrifice for the sins of the world, NOT the freedom of the Jews. Afterall, the Jewish people still rejected Him, and were not freed from the Roman occupation. But His ministry was the beginning of the age of the Gentiles, where we are grafted into the Tree of Life, previously reserved for the Jews. Jesus spoke far more about Hell than He did about Heaven. Jesus told the story about Lazarus and the rich man, where Lazarus was comforted in Abraham's Bosom, while the rich man was tormented in Hell. I tend to put some weight in a story Jesus Himself tells. A LOT of weight. Sorry, people have NOT created Hell. Hell was created for the fallen angels, and people who have CHOSEN to reject God and eternity in His presence have to go somewhere. Being eternal beings, Hell is the only other option. People have not created Hell, but they do chose to go there when they reject God and His gift of eternal life in the form of Jesus' death for us. The wages of sin is death, and the blood of animals could only cover sin, but it did not TAKE AWAY the sin. Only the Blood of Jesus could do that. This video literally ignores the previous series on the Books of Enoch, as Enoch actually decended into Hell and wrote about the unpassable chasm between Abraham's Bosom and the Hell chambers...then you post this, denying that same series of videos. Guys, I am perplexed how anyone can read God's Word more than once or twice and be this deceived. At the end, when you talk about not getting distracted about "little things," I'm again stunned. I totally agree. But im still trying to figure out what your actual point is. If there is no Hell, where are the indestructible souls of Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, Mao Ts Tung, and the millions of other unspeakably evil people? And the billions of others who have rejected Jesus outright? In Heaven's "backyard?" Im sorry, can you give me one single passage to back up your "pie in the sky" theory? Yeah, I didn't think so. Life is NOT a dress rehearsal. You get one shot at it. This message is literally from Satan, because he doesn't want people to believe in Hell. @candancemcgee3328 The parable of the Rich Man of Lazarus is a parable and not to be taken literal. Jesus spoke to people in parables because there was an obscure meaning behind them. The Rich Man represents the nation of Judah and the Pharisees who in those days dressed in purple and fine line. Lazarus represents the Nation of Israel who in 2 Kings 17:20 was cast outside the gate of Jerusalem when God allowed them to be taken into captivity by Assyria. The rich man had 5 brothers just as Judah himself had 5 brothers, Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, and Zebulun. The others were only his half brothers. The word hell is Hades which is meant to convey the Hebrew word Sheol. In Greek Hades is a place of punishment and torture while Sheol is literally the grave in the Hebrew language often referred to as a state of being asleep. The book of Ecclesiastes 9:5 tells us in death there is NO consciousness. If you are not well studied in the OT you will not be able to understand the meaning of the parables. Please keep in mind that after king Solomon died the kingdom of Israel split. Judah consisted of the tribe of Benjamin and Israel had the remaining 10 tribes. In other words there is great distinction between Israel and Judah who are spoken of often in the parables. Even until this day the kingdom remains split. It’s mind boggling to me that people take the parables and make them literal as if all people have eyes to see and ears to hear. In Matthew 13:10-17 the disciples ask Jesus why He speaks in parables and He says “Because they haven’t received the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but you have.” Jesus also says, “ although they see, they don’t really see; and although they hear, they don’t really hear or understand.” Lean not on your own understanding or the understanding of man and seek God to reveal the truth to you.

I recently subscribed to this channel. This video had me go back to read the "about" statement of the channel, which I suppose I should have read before clicking the sub button. Jesus is not just a "guide". He is our Lord and Savior. And the purpose of his second coming is first in judgement, then to set up his heavenly kingdom on Earth (as it is in Heaven). Without the judgement part and Hell, there is no justice. And, according to Jesus' words, it's more than just being left outside the camp... Matthew 25:41-46 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Good stuff. However do consider that in the Bible heaven is typically shown as up. Gods spirit hovered, up. The earth is His foot stool, up. Angels on a ladder, up. Christ assended, up, and so on. Yes He will live among us, and on the throne of David, but we are told to look up. Blessings

This video claims that the western caricature of understanding hell as a fiery torture chamber in the middle of the Earth that God sends people who don’t say the sinners prayer is completely BOGUS. Jesus never used the word “Hell” and you would do yourself a big favor by researching the actual word he used Gehenna. Pray for God to open your mind and to realize that hell is not a fiery torture chamber God prepared for people who reject him. Hell is separation from God’s presence and denying the grace offered through the resurrection of Jesus.
