When the pandemic started I began listening to a lot of Jordan Peterson which lead me to listen to Johnathan Pageau, and that lead me to learn about eastern orthdoxy and now I'm listening to Tim and all of these guys are pointing to the same thing. What Tim called the eternal now, its the logos, the word, the truth that is truer than true, the energy or substance that is a person and which sustains all of the reality we experience. There is so much wonder in Christianity that I had experienced as a younger more ignorant teen and am now beginning to rediscover in my mid thirties. Is this what Jesus meant when he said we should be like little children? May God be glorified forever and ever!

That’s a very cool journey you are on. That’s my sense too.. All things throughout all time and space of things seen and unseen are the expression of God’s love and creativity and we, being made in the image and likeness of God, also possess that same spirit to love and create

That is excellent! Just be careful with Jordan Peterson, he is on a journey and barely begun to see who God really is. We have to be like the Bereans and study the scriptures for ourselves. Jesus said he was the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through him. Also Paul said there is ONE mediator between God and man, the man Jesus Christ. Pretty restrictive, huh? 😊 I'm so glad God is using whatever he chooses to use to bring you to him! Jesus leaves the 99 sheep and goes after the one. He will never let you go!

Very much the same here. Really resonated with JBP and Pageau, but started realising I was seeing Jesus as a set of ideas more than as a true a living God. This exact video made it all click for me - 26 years of being a 'Christian' and my eyes were finally opened to God. I'm all the way down south in New Zealand, so it is amazing to see how this is happening all over the world. I've also been blessed from the host in this video, Tyler Staton, and Pete Grieg who co-founded the 24-7 prayer movement. Just thought to mention in case they might bless you too :)

I pray everyone sees this sermon. It is literally life changing, I showed my half in half out of religious sister this sermon. She wept for hours. God is everywhere. God is everything. God can change my 15 years of Atheism into the understanding and realization of Christ. As an atheist, we had thousands of people trying to disprove God. I was one of them. My sister moved away, she is my best friend. When I saw her again, she was glowing. I thought she was pregnant to be honest. She was greater than that, she was pregnant with the word. I argued with her, but love her, so I didn't push too hard but always thought... my baby sister always worshipped the ground I walked on. She thought everything I did was the best thing, the right thing. Now, she had disagreements which floored me. Now, I see. I SEE THE THOUSANDS OF US. 1000s of atheist trying to disprove one person. And we couldn't. We tried changing the world with 100,000 of thousands of people. Jesus did it as one 3 year ministry. God turned this world upside down in the word. Very few words comparitively. I pray Lord that the divorce of my sister doesnt freeze her hands from asking for God's blessing. I pray I never think as I did. I thank God every day every morning that I am a wretched sinner and I don't understand why he would except me into his love. The atheist is lost. Not found. I know for I was one. But LORD I PRAY WE HAVE FULL MOUTHS, I pray my sisters weeping means she understood. Hitler couldn't change the world with an army of trained monsters. Jesus changed the world with just a few words.

God has been communicating with me like Tim is talking about for many years. It has been difficult communicating with structured Christians ( my brothers and sisters) for a long time as well. God started giving me visions and dreams about many things around me at the age of 19. I am now 62 and this ride on earth has been the most painful and wonderful learning experience anyone could have. Walking in the spirit like Tim describes is indescribable and purely simple at the same time. I died 13 years ago and experienced Jesus face to face. God has granted me the privilege of working as a Chaplain in a jail facility. ( His vineyards) and I find more faith and spirituality in jail than in mainstream churches ( again my brothers and sisters) where faith has become cold, a ceremony, a book reading, and a place to feed ones intellectual ego. God is far more and far bigger than the box in which we have placed him. And worship is far more than singing a few songs on Sunday. Ask God for his will in all things and you will see it too.

Really love this. Have always only heard from Tim on bible project but when he shares about not feeling God's presence, was abit shocked bcos for someone like him who has studied so much about the bible and is so knowledgeable, yet he couldn't feel God's presence at times. However the last part about the huckle berries is so lovely, indeed, we see God in very little moments all around us, the laughter of a baby, a warm sunshine, a cooling breeze, a kind encouraging word coming from a stranger when you need it the most.. kindness and love still can be found in everyday life.. this amazing huckleberry life that God creates from its tiniest molecules.. what a dear loving Father...

My sneaking suspicion is that Tim has been on a similar journey to all who this resonates with. There is a movement in greater Christendom toward that which is the ineffable nature of God that demands to live inside of Jesus’ followers. So come Father, come spirit, come Son… have mercy on us all!

I love how Jesus describes this when he talks about how the Kingdom of heaven is within you, and the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, and also how unless you are born again of water and spirit you cannot see the Kingdom, and he compares the kingdom moving within like the wind, it doesn’t make sense to those who can’t see it and finally before he was turned over to be crucified he says my kingdom is not of this world, if it were… And so on, he makes so many connections and references to this Kingdom which is unseen and yet ever present around us, in us, and within us

@@01inarow I am sorry if I offended you. I would never take away from the majesty and awesomeness that is our God, the Great I AM and Eternal Now. But in Tim's example, The Spirit says to him that the Fruit of the Spirit is all around Tim in the form of the Presence of the Spirit. Our God wants that deep relationship with us. And in that relationship, he relates to us personally. In every relationship I have, I joke around and laugh and laugh a lot more. My relationship with Jesus is no different. Of course, we have deep worship and prayerful moments, but we also have jovial, hilarious moments because He created humor to! I don't want my joke to offend, nor imply I take it lightly. But Jesus reminding us that He's always there, by way of Tim's illustration, of being the Huckleberry, helps keep it before our face and reminds us to keep seeking Him always. Blessings!

Someone posted something about near-death experiences… but I propose rather to think of having near-life experiences. Or rather, real life experiences. That life Tim is talking about which is in touch with past-now-and future all at once. That life which connects to God’s eternal and creative will. Listening to this for the second or third time, I suddenly had an “understanding” about prayer. In recent months I had a repeating voice that kept saying “intercessory Prayer” over and over to me. I understood it to mean that the church we attend was breaking into another level - so to speak - and needed prayer coverage for engaging in what Paul would call spiritual warfare. My first assignment, after a couple of months of prayer, just took a turn for what one would call the worst. Worst to the Nth degree. Listening to Tim, I suddenly see that my expectations in praying have been dreadfully conventional and time/space conventional in expectation. We tend to pray for the sick expecting the obvious and apparent condition to be resolved. Back problem be healed now…Done. Success. Moving on. Just how limited is our point of view is, was made evident when layers upon layers were laid bare. So many new layers that the original malady we were praying for in our/my myopic vision of the situation became evident. The original condition that was visible at the onset is now not even the point. Some people pray for the sick or for a situation with a habitual proviso that it be God’s will. I find it not necessarily wrong in principal, but it tends to remove all commitment and power from the prayer, and removes any commitment on the part of the person praying. What is the right way to pray for the sick or a situation then? That will take much more reflection, but the answer is definitely not formulaic. It will take much more pondering in that state in which past-present-and future all converge and become a person: the person of Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit. What I do see is that even if with good intentions we may be praying for the wrong or short-sighted thing, earnest prayer seems to always accomplish something. Probably because from the beginning (ie Genesis beginning) it was God’s plan to involve us in His plans and His doings.

My take away from it, well many takeaways really, but one is that prayer is meant to be a place and time that is transcendent. An altered state, or at least much more so than we generally get to in prayer. We are temples of the Holy Spirit. Being Clay jars, we have a hard time seeing passed the natural realm. But the Spirit within us is not of this world. He's supernatural. One key for me was when he said he started on a journey of just being silent before God with open hands and asking for more of His felt presence. Making God a priority. Seeking Him with our whole heart. We are sure to have an adventure if we do. Because He said if you seek me with your whole heart you will find me.

So thankful for Tim's vulnerability in sharing his journey about learning prayer and God's presence. It leads to deep revelation for us all. It's also cool to hear him (and other prominent Protestant voices) refer to other streams of Christianity as having deep wells to drink from, especially when it comes to prayer.

I don’t know what he was nervous about. This was one of the most profound messages of true reality in which we exist & will get to see & be fully immersed in soon. 🙏🏻✝️👑❤️ I hope to hear more of Tim.

I had unlocked this way of praying recently before I heard Tim speak but the way he connects it to the experiences they had in the Bible, wow what a revelation. 🙌🏻❤️‍🔥

The eternal now. Jesus prayer in John says "Now this is eternal life. That you may know the Father and the one that He sent." Paradise is WITH the Father and with the Son.

Wow. I have to listen to this again. I think I got most of what our Bro is saying, but I'm not connecting all the dots...but I trust his wisdom and humility. Preach Brother! Preach! Hallelujah! To Yeshua the Messiah! Amen!
