tbh, I am not surprise about how HBR handle its gacha and events. The no limited characters, no stupid secondary weapons gacha system and permanent events are things that have been done in Another Eden. It makes sense that they would do the same in their second game.

I will give a more detailed explanation for 6 stats and how they works in base stat formulas. STR&DEX decide base offense stat.For most damaging skills which have no bonus to HP/DP, STR&DEX is simply added together and divided by 3 and you have the base offense stat. For damaging skills which have HP bonus, STR is multplied by 2 then added with DEX. And for skills have DP bonus, they benefits twice form DEX constary to whose have HP bouns. Note that there are some damaging skills using other stats instead, which will be marked in the skill desccription( i.e Aoi SS2`s ex skill is based on VIT, Tama SS2`s ex skill is based on INT). i.e For Yuri SS1`s ex skill, it has 30% HP bonus. So the base offense stat for Yuri SS1 whose STR is 350 and DEX is 250 is (350*2+260)/3= 320. VIT&SPR decide the base defense stat. There are only 2 formulas for defense stat. It is either (2*VIT+SPR)/3 or (VIT+SPR*2)/3. But which one is used is decided by the cancer. Thus damage you receive will be greatly increased if your base defense stat is lower than the cancer`s stat. For short guide, you need both stats over 360 to reach the stat cap for boss in score attack challenge under 120 difficulty. INT is used in buffs and debuffs. For all buffs/healing the base stat is INT*1. For debuffs, the base formula is (INT*2+LCK)/3. Most buffs will reach their maximum when INT reaches 532. For each LCK exceeds the target`s stat, it provide 0.04% base critial chance and the maximum you can benefit from LCK is 10%. So only debuffers need LCK.

This is a quick breakdown (from my experience and understanding): The basics of defeating a boss if to stack it with debuffs and buff your main attacker/attacker and use their strongest skill to oneshot the HP/DP bars. This can be done easier with overdrive as time "pauses" when in overdrive and you get 1-3 turns depending on the overdrive level, which means that the debuffs stay in that "time paused state".

Blasters stack the percentage next to enemies bar higher when their dp is depleted. the higher the percentage the more damage an attacker/blaster can do. buffer/debuffer standard. breakers deplete dp bar. healer/defender(tank) standard.

I've a question. I feel like a lot of the time boss fights are stalled out by the DP meter. Usually I just slowly chip away at it till it's down then I can begin to stack devastation rates and use my attackers more efficiently. I start to wonder if bringing 2 breakers would be beneficial? To note: I did not reroll and I think my characters aside from Tama SS1 are kinda... meh so idk if that plays a role

For one the game was JP only for a long time until very recently, so most people didn’t bother playing it. Secondly is that it by design is pretty much doomed to being niche. It’s female only and waifu only gachas are almost always niche in the west (Nikke is the only exception). Almost all the top dogs in the west are mixed gender. It doesn’t have a male protagonist so people who like female only games and want to self insert as a waifu harem lose that aspect. Lastly it just can’t compete with modern gachas in terms of production values. Even something closer to it like Reverse1999 still feels higher budget than this. Its not bad but its definitely a step behind the rest.

If you have Chinese Dress Seika now, you can simply wait for YingXia SS1. She should be right before the first AB collab. Yingxia SS1 is the most valuable buffer in this game as she is the only one who can apply extra hit bouns(5 hits*10% overall damage) freely. With Seika SS2 and Yingxia SS1 you probably won`t have diffculties in beating the main story until Skullfeather in Chapter 4 Part 2 as it demands 2 teams.

My team's ~11.5K power. I'm in Ch. 3 and I've yet to encounter a scenario where Blasters are necessary. My rolls were kinda crazy and so I run an LB2 SS1 Irene hypercarry team that 100% - 0% one shots event bosses. Is there a list somewhere that shows every stackable buff and debuff? The EN localization makes skill descriptions virtually useless, e.g. it doesn't tell you anywhere that there's no reason whatsoever to level her EX skill beyond the 4/4 charges. Also who would you say are the best buffers/debuffers for SS1 Inori? My current team uses LB3 S Yingxia, SS2 Seika, and SS1 Mion.

@@arkamukherjee457 Ch 2 is at least twice as long as Ch 1. There are also permanent side story events -- those are very short, maybe 1-3 hours depending on how long you farm. Counting story only is misleading, so if you include combat/leveling/gearing, I'd say Ch 1 and Ch 2 are easily 20-30+ hours. Whatever you do, don't skip the story. It's the best part of the game and like at least 75% of why you'd play the game.

Yes. The S welfare style that comes with Mari's event (which I would recommend everyone do right after finishing Chapter 1) gives her access to a really powerful buff that you can't get from a buffer yet (and is still rare even on current JP), which means she can be a really powerful DPS.

Adel SS1 is not as useful as other SS she has since the ex skill has no element, which limits Adel SS1 being a damage dealer. But as dowolf mentioned Adel can apply extra hit bonus(3 hit* 20% overall damage) on herself due to the free S, so Adel is one of the strongest damage dealer in the game and can get rid of Yinxia in the build. Adel SS3/Dark Adel is still the attacker who has the best damage potenial in dark team builds in JP server. However Adel`s ex skills have no bonus to HP/DP, so they have a small disadventage on base damage formula which demands more LBs for Adel to maximum the damage.

I would say chapter 1 and 2 is a freebie, and starting from the very end of chapter 2 onward you will need to more or less understand the mechanic, although u can still quite easily beat it. I did all 3 chapters in like 2 or 3 days, most of my friends did in 2

Simply watch the story on KZbin to save your valuable time. The movement is sluggish, even the fast travel isn't speedy, cutscenes can't be skipped, and patrols are mandatory but feel like a time sink. Autosaving takes up a lot of time when considering the cumulative effect, and there are many other time-consuming mechanics in this game. You won't miss any thrilling moments from the gameplay either, as it isn't particularly special or exhilarating. After all, it's a gacha game.

This was a recent QoL improvement for JP; I don't know if it's included in the EN version yet. But! When it is, you'll be able to use any S skin you have at MLB; and any SS skin at LB2.

YingXia S and Shiki S should be invested first if you have 3 LBs on them. Their passive can generate 1 SP for the reserve in the battle every turn as they are placed in the frontline, which makes them perfect dungeon buffers. Thus we usually unitize Yingxia SS1`s ex skill first so that her S can use the skill. Then Aina S is a good opition as she can provide aoe normal defense down and Fragile/Exposed. And it takes 3-6 months for the best universal debuffer to get her first SS.

Blasters can be the damage dealer as well. Adel SS3 is the best dark damage dealer in JP server today( requires 3 LBs to surpress Sugawara SS2 and Yuina SS3). They only have a disvadvantage in base damage formula{ except Yuri SS1 since her ex skill has 30% hp bonus and is applied with 2*STR instead of 1*STR ), so they need more LBs for extra stats.

When it comes to buffers i also have Seika SS (explo of universe) and also Seira (the one that gives crit chance), so idk if getting yingxia LB 3 is worth it in my case. I have a couple more buffers but lacking on attackers (just Ruka SS no element) and breakers (just one SS, which is afterglow). @@sagansagan5395 Only Yingxia S is worthy of LB with universal S shreds. You can exchange SS shreds with A/S shreds later so save them as many as possible. The number terminology is the character`s style releasing sequence. You can find all style information on hbrquest. You have Seika SS2 for critical chance and 30% critical damage so you don`t have to invest Seria SS1. Note that Seika`s critical buff will be consumed by normal attacks so put the damage dealer into reserve if you want to apply the buff. For damage dealers, you can invest Ruka`s free SS first since you can get free LBs and lv.130. And complete the first summer event for her 8-sp fire aoe skill for dungeons. If you have Adel SS1 then you can invest her first as the damage dealer for score attack since Mari`s event gives her a free S and allows her to apply extra hit counts (3 hits*20% overall damage) on herself.
