I don't think the risk reward is in your favor, unless you got the punish down to an absolute t. If the paul knows that you get up to counter, they'll just release it early and catch you sidestepping or jabbing for another full launch. Better to just treat it as guaranteed, imo.

@@lsv47 no, you do the counterplay the first time in order to let the paul know that you know how to counter. then they have to start thinking about what option you’ll choose instead of fully charging every time

Uf 1+4. Male characters, Kuma, and Reina can headbutt each other. The premise of this grab is pressing either 1,2,3, or 4 to guess right and headbutt them. If they guess wrong, they get the damaging headbutt. Break is 1+2 btw.

looks to me that you are having the same probleme as me i too keep matching up against cheaters spammers and bullshit characteres im a bryan main and i deadass am not lying to you bryan is not made for tekken 8 he is still playing like a tekken 6 charactere and its bad he doesnt have all the new mechanics given to reina for exemples he doesnt have grabs that continues into combos like the new characteres and he doesnt have a panic moove or even good 50 50 he has the same kit basically since tekken 5 with two more mooves or something its kinda pathetic if you ask me im stuck in raijin and cannot go further i feel like raijin is the new tekken god rank because people are ether wayyyy too good for theire ranks or are discusting spammers because they know they have bullshit new mechanics that you just can stand there and take 40 percent of your hp as micro dammage while you are in defense but you just have to take it because one jab or attempt on a moove and they will +8 your ass so hard youll want to plug because of how discusting it is

Raijin is defo not the new tk. Its more like red ranks with how much knowledge checks and flowcharts you gotta deal with. As bad as it is, it gets worse with the shitty netcode lmao. Fake "5" bar connections thats 80-100ping. So even if you do know when to step or duck a move, sometime the game eats up the input lmao

@@murriellearenas4663 the amount of times i tried to do a rage art or combo and the game just decides out of nowhere to make the camera do a 360 and completely deny my moove or when i do a sidestep most of the time it somehow doesnt count as one and still get hit i saw a lot of tekken 8 videos and im not the only one that happens to also i barely see any kazuya jin devil jin paul lars characteres in my rank all i see constantly are lili xiaou alisa jun asuka and raven yoshimitsu thats the only characteres i see i tried to see a full week of playing if i could see other characteres i counter i saw 1 bryan 1 kazuya 2 heihachi 4 jack and 1 jin in a full week of playing thats borderline depressing i banned 42 xiaou players and i still keep seeing them not to mention i have to wait like 10 minutes to find a player sometimes

@@redwinebryan Wanting to fight Kaz, Paul, or Lars is a wild take over Raven. I may be a Raven main but outside of heat he is pretty mediocre. Seems like its just a knowledge gap, maybe do more practice tool, especially if this is first Tekken. Bryan also does have a good 50-50, 3 actually. Long range high QC1, and the mixup with shoulder I think is what QC2 if I remember correctly. Thats a great mixup imo. And if at wall with install or heat he has his 3+4 charge mix. That unlike Pauls, Bryans is NOT sidestep so you have to full on guess or get a full wall combo by Bryan. Then he has hatchet kick and QC4 mix up as well. Alot of Bryan when fighting is almost mixes just as much as the rest of the cast because alot of his strings can end in mid or high and can be comboed after. He may not be S tier like Nina, Jin, Yoshi, but he for sure is an A tier character and has plenty of tools to hold his own. May not be as simple as Reina ff2 into mix but he still has good ones
