❤ .When i go for my IT industry interview, they dont ask for sexual favor to give me the job. It happens mostly in the entertainment industry, which needs to be seriously addressed. Resigned AMMA president was heard brushing it off as "it happens everywhere " is just sad.

@@sridevi.v I agree with this, I too worked in the IT field for long years and we had 100s of young people working within the age of 20-40 and our manager was only in his 20s and he did make sure no such incident ever happens and he used to have talks with employees and always mentioned he had a mom, sister and wife, so I would make the safety of women coming here, and he made it 💯 sure!! Just my experience..

@veenakrishnan4687 I'm talking about the initial interaction, which is an interview, and none asks me to do favors to get that job. In cinema, as we hear, it's shocking and sad how different and difficult the approach is for many women. As far as promotions and such, personally I have not faced any sexual misbehavior. There are many women also in higher positions. It'll be nice to hear from other women and their experiences. I just have my own and people around me. Since film industry worships certain dads and uncles, it gets even more difficult, making few people more powerful every season.

Hema committee report isnt released by the government.. It came out as per the result of RTI filed where government couldnt do anything to stop it. Hence they released the redacted version hiding the name of victims and perpetrators.. If no RTI was filed this would still not be released and govt has least interest in taking any action in this.

People like to discuss sexuality and women in particular. I believe you cannot trust everything. I truly believe that girls need to be bold and stand for themselves. Ellarum anagnalla pakshe vere nivruthiyilla. A person's need for a career shouldn't outweigh self respect. I am not saying everybody is like that, Maybe at least a few sections of the society. The threat for women is everywhere, Cinema has more reach, that's all. Safe working space for women irrespective of any career should be made mandate. Pinne ithu polulla sambhavangal will create panic and scare for at least sometime for now. Delayed Justice as you said is No justice. For every step towards equality is a fight for woman, athu ennum angane thanneyanu. Imagine the struggle LGBTQ are facing in their respective fields.😢

Hema Committee has done a study,it has not collected any evidence.The Committee has heard all the allegations and collected some information from many artists of how improvements can be done in film industry work place.The people who have appeared in front of the Committee has made it very clear to the Committee that their names should not be revealed,in that case how can the Committee reveal the names of the individuals who have misbehaved and the names of the Power group?

Maybe the stars who are also members of political parties offer a percentage of their earning from their movies for being a part of a political party or for contesting in elections as a member of the party. The classical nexus between politics and movie may be observed in the case of Mamooty, who is at the helm of Kairali tv, which is also the mouth organ of the ruling party. Similar is the case with Mukesh. Hence the delay in the report seeing light. Other parties must also be involved in the nexes. Look at the eg of. SURESH GOPI. Did not the opposition know about the hema commission ? Why no questions from them up until now ? MARRIAGE GETWEEN MURKINESS AND MIGHT .
