As an Eagles fan, I’m getting 2022 vibes from this team

Why?
@dondreavery449719 сағат бұрын
Slow down, we have to beat Jacksonville first. Why we always get ahead of ourselves. I need Hurts to continue to cut back on the turnovers and make good decisions with the football.
@erickesquivel860919 сағат бұрын
@@dondreavery4497I think it’s legit. He said vibes, so it’s just a feeling. Sensing a pattern though and the trend shows good indicators. Maybe one more year left, but I’m seeing how the rest of the conference stacks up against us this season and it’s not like there’s some real high power teams outside of maybe the Lions.

If they can get a pass rusher or a third receiver it would help. However the Eagles are trending in the right direction. The coordinators are understanding what they have and Cooper and Mitchell their rookies are really good. I definitely see them competing for the NFC title.

I feel like if you have like Myles Garrett who teams have to game plan for, then you instantly make everyone else on the line better. I don’t think Howie will though I can’t see him spending that kind of money when he just gave it to Huff and wants Dean and Nola to serve that purpose.

The past two weeks were the first time in over a year they destroyed an opponent, not just squeaked by. Something has certainly shifted for this team. That said, the Giants have a bad offense and the Bengals have an average-at-best defense. If they’re going to win a Super Bowl this year, they not only have to keep this momentum going, but keep improving while you’re still playing beatable teams. That way by the time you’re facing the Commanders, Rams, and Ravens, you’re in playoff shape

Eagles fan. So perhaps biased but right now it’s Philly and Detroit in the NFC, maybe Tampa then everyone else. Already beat Green Bay. Dallas and Minny fading fast. Bears are a mirage. Falcons are off and on. Commies have zero playoff experience and they haven’t beaten anybody good except maybe the Bengals. But their wins are vs the Panthers (😂), the Gnats, the Browns, the Cardinals and they squeaked by the Bears. Not sure they’re for real. So not unrealistic if the Eagles continue this level of play. They win a rematch with Tampa if it’s in Philly for sure. Lions have been beating up on cupcakes too but they have a couple of quality wins and have to be the favorite right now. NFC feels somewhat wide open, though. So the birds could definitely make the Super Bowl, sure. Far from the favorite to right now, though.

In all honesty Julian this team is coming together yes, but if im being honest i could see us getting a pass rusher we could use another guy to help the D Line out i was thinking maybe Crosby or Myles Garrett but i would be good with someone like a Jadevon Clowney cause thats our only weakness defensively is consistently getting to the QBs so i wouldnt say we need to make a splash move but another pass rusher would be helpful if im Howie go get Clowney from the Panthers he had 9.5 sacks last year for the Ravens him or someone like Von Miller who knows Fangio scheme and won two SBs outside of that we just need to keep getting healthy and playing mistake free football.

Lions are that team . They are the best team in the nfl . The Chiefs look just like the eagles did last year . Winning very tight games by luck , calls etc . Now they won’t collapse like we did , but the lions when clicking on all cylinders , will be tough to beat . If the eagles continue playing like this , I suspect it’ll be one hell of a game in Detroit , or Philly for the right to go to the big dance! Go eagles 🦅 Dionte Johnson to the ravens is a huge move as well . If Lamar ever makes it to the superbowl , it’s almost a guaranteed win - with his record vs nfc .

So I'm in kind of an odd position. When it comes to basketball, I'm a Boston Celtics fan. When it comes to F1, I'm a McLaren fan. And when it comes to North American football obviously I'm an Eagles fan. 2 years ago I watched my Celtics play the warriors and while I had a good feeling about the time it was clear that we just kind of weren't ready yet for that stage vs an experienced team even if we were the better team. There are steps that had to be taken. Experience gained. You have to get there. Experience it. And most people lose their first go round. Then they have that down year. And then obviously this past year the rest is history. ☘️ Felt like we had a good team, traded for kristaps porzingis, Holiday.... And went for it. Also with a coach that a lot of people doubted. The Eagles seem to be following a similar pattern. We got to the super bowl. Had our down year. Traded for an excellent running back. The trade deadline will let me know...but I just see a lot of similarities. The coach, that same doubt "can this person carry them to a championship". All that stuff. So yeah I think, yes. Super bowl capable. Now that the team has found itself. Found its identity....the potential is there. 🦅

What is Sirianni’s win loss record?
@gbmbg11419 сағат бұрын
I’ve been saying this.. if that defense can get better and better with those young players, they can do whatever they want to do.. almost reminds me of how the Chiefs built their defense in that ‘22 season.. And no disrespect to these other teams, but I just trust the Eagles in the biggest games more than Detroit or Cousins or Daniels or the Packers or Darnold, etc.. Detroit looks awesome.. but they’ve never been to a SB.. there’s a first time for everything, but the air starts getting thin at those heights.. so give me Hurts there.. And the Eagles are just a tough matchup for the Chiefs.. not saying “better”.. but definitely a tough matchup.. especially when you add the 3peat stuff in there.. I’d almost be more afraid of Baltimore, if they got over the hump.. and a healthy 9ers team would make me a little cautious.. so I think the Eagles can do it.. but they have to play the games and gel more and more..
