Seeing Sausage not having everything ready for the guests in time (the path to the portal) really takes me back to Empires S1, when he had a bunch of guests coming over to trade with his villagers, and he still didn't have a proper trading hall built, having only built it at the end of the episode. ^^ But, it all worked out, because I seem to remember that both visits ended up contributing to the final build, with what they traded earlier.

So Pearl from Hermitcraft doesn't know Sausage, even though HC is not "that" heavy on lore from what I can tell. And she decided to use her queen skin for this visit, which made her look exactly like the Pearl Oli and Sausage saw in their own episodes -- that is, if both POVs are considered to be part of the same canon. And that Pearl, Santa Pearla as Sausage calls her, knows both Sausages from Sanctuary and After-Life (the one who was sleeping when Oli visited her before entering Empires). Getting kinda confusing here. Hopefully it makes more sense later on, either by further developing the plot, or by confirming what is and isn't canon. Really enjoying this crossover so far! :D
