Who is saying she’s bad? Hela players seem to be taking over lobbies pretty easily. You can literally just sit in main and shoot any squishy that peaks and force them out or get a kill without how much damage she does

She is great and has many favorable matchups but currently im in top 32 the DPS pool is pretty large you can see Magik and Scarlet being picked more due to scalet team up and magik being a great dive character cleaving damage while being pretty tough to kill

I one-tricked Hela in this beta and here's my breakdown that no one asked for. Passive: Mostly unnoticeable. Usually forget she has it. Primary: Good damage, great headshot multiplier, hard to hit on small targets. Overall fairly balanced. Could transfer some headshot multiplier to raw damage for more consistency, but not needed. Secondary: Forgettable, just throw it when you're out of ammo or 3+ people are grouped up. Otherwise, it's super buggy, it won't go where you aim and will just hit a random wall/pole/tree on the way to wherever you're aiming. Stun: Great but inconsistent against mobile targets. Hitting a Magik or Spider-Man is very rewarding as it shuts them down, but doing so requires skill. Otherwise, it's all right. Bird: By far the worst part of her kit. Takes forever to charge up, very one-dimensional as it goes in a straight line, and it has a 15-second cooldown. Out of all the mobility options in the game, this feels far below everything else. Ultimate: Mid. As shown in the video, there's a lot of counterplay. Focus Hela, use literally any support ult, duck behind cover, use mobility, or just make people invulnerable with the plethora of invincibility abilities in the game. Also, she can't contest the objective when ulting, which can easily lead to a loss when your teammates leave the point for no reason. But when used correctly, and barring any of the aforementioned circumstances, it's a team-killer. Overall, I think she's A-Tier. She's definitely not weak, but there are stronger, more consistent options you could play. TL;DR: She's good. Don't overestimate or underestimate her. Just estimate her.

Hela is definitely a skillful character. But right now the hitbox for her hitscan is the size of a projectile. Died plenty of times where a Hela is aiming 4 - 5 feet to the side of me. That needs to be fixed for sure. I would say also that she should be given a "zoom" where her damage is what it currently is but a slower fire rate, and when she isn't zoomed in she can fire faster at lower damage similar to Ashe from OW.

Imo if you’re in a 6 stack focusing Hela during ult is worth it. Had several comp games last night where her ult got 0 kills because we all focus and immediately get her out of ult. It’ll probably depend on your team comp though since some characters straight up can’t touch hela during ult lol

I think she should have a slightly slower firing speed. Keep her high burst damage but make missing slightly more punishable by not being able to fire as fast.

i was gonna say i played overwatch on both and she kind of reminds me a little of hanzo on console. deadly if u hit ur shots but takes skill bc of controller and the movement makes flicks sm harder. havent tried her on pc but i think shes a strong skillful character on console. im talking more on the casual level havent seen anything higher than gold players

Definitely S tier, 2nd best duelist behind Punisher. She's meant to get countered by dive characters like Spiderman, but because of her stun she can beat them up close by just stunning them followed up with 2 free headshots. If I was to change her, I'd nerf her damage a fair bit, and also nerf the stun ability.

Shes very situational and only shines against fliers. Most of the time youre not gonna be able to burst down a squishy thats hiding in the backline. Shes pretty useless if you cant headshot anything.

The only problem I have with Hela is her ultimate. Almost any character in the game when they ult have a risk=reward with their ult, either they're in danger of dying like Loki's ult or Jeff's ult, or they can be cancelled by a stun like Wanda's ultimate, and they put themselves on the line most of the time, if they die, they lose their ult, while you have Hela that she can straight up use her dash to get in the backline, ult, and pressure everyone while they have to focus on a teamfight with a Hela behind them that can 2 shot kill almost anyone, and even if you kill her ult she's still alive. If they at least made it so that if you kill her during her ult, she would die, then at least it would be more fair and would make more sense. At least that's what I think
