I've been studying this guy for the past 3 weeks, he's REALLY GOOD at carrying games. He's made me want to play Viego mid again. When you fall behind is even more important to go for the full dmg build so you can get as close as possible to your objective to burst somebody down, but if you are ahead this guy (but more often other Viegos) grab Jak'sho or Iceborn after BOTRK so they can force things easier and push their leads further.

@@wei270 Viego isn't broken. He's very easy to screw up and fall behind on. Maybe at one point, he was. But definitely not anymore.

@wei Viego was only broken on release, since then it's been non-stop changes to his builds and things like 275 --> 225 or W>E He isn't a dead champ however if he falls behind it might as well be a 4v5 if you never get the soul to reset. I'm pretty sure now after Yi changes he just outperforms. I give this example because of his Q ability in terms of being untargetable.

@@cxalesce he still have a ult that is a sec flash, and a no cd hp reset on kill just those two alone is enough to put his damage on below average to be balanced, and his damage now is not below average it is just below top 15. the ward by pass is also very helpful as a jg

Yeah if he procs his Q mark, he autos 2 times. Which means he gets 4 stacks from a single auto attack

@@gigachad3533 Nah you're correct on that. When he levels up his Q, it's passive gives the empowered effect to all of his spells. So yeah W auto Q auto gives 12 stacks

Seems like Viego is seriously strong in solo queue, basically in every role. He has such strong ability to single-handedly win skirmishes. Passive is SO strong in solo queue environment. I wonder why he is not played more.

cuz viego is shit,he is not a solo queue monster as much everyone wants to believe he is.he loses 1v1 to most actual meta junglers.he just makes it hell for enemies who makes mistakes,and in a rank like challenger where people literally play off of each other slightest misplays he has the potential to make things happen. some dumbass is now going to reply to me in the comments saying but viego in pro play is picked so op! oh ye the pussy viego build where u go 6 tank items and play as a carry enabler works so well in low elo solo queue where there is nobody to play around.thats the reason why he isnt played more than he already is.the reason he has a high pick rate rn is not that the champ is specifically good,but he is extremely fun to play.

@@dordpolo239 you can be fine on Viego as long as u have a general idea what something does,it late game fights u mostly use passive so u dont get bursted like a baloon,and u should just know what that one key ability that champ has is which,so for example oh i posses veigar for his cage and then ult out.early game tho there are situations where its good to master some champs.personally played a shit ton of games on gp so i can play him well when i take his body,was not worth the time since almost nobody picks him

Keep in mind tanking wave to crash is done a little differently for toplane since you don't have many ways of running away after you've done so. And the lane's longer so if someone comes they'll have more time to catch you.

This looks very easy to shut down. Kr players don’t understand that Viego mid can have both good burst and extended trades (eg, the sylas landing a good combo then re engaging for some reason)

I tried playing Viego mid and followed exactly his stuff. Going gauntlet when ahead or going kraken when behind for pushing sidelanes. Kind of fun but I usually don't know how to play against ad that scales hard in lanes like Yone, Yasuo, Zed. I can barely outplay them cuz they fight hard 1v1 while I struggle with keeping my composure and waiting for cd on my skills. Sure I can harass them and poke, but they sustain really crazy.

Not really, you just need to know what the abilities are. You're basically gonna QWE as soon as you possess and then ult again for the next kill. Like in the clip with the pyke, you may as well e before you ult to land the stun
