5 STARS .... One slight editing error at the beginning. The movie, the film Noir; is awesome! A must see. From the Beginning slowly methodically to the end. Not predictable in the slightest. And the very last second of the ending you would not expect. Thank you so much...

A cracking good psychological thriller. Excellent cast. Superb script. Mesmerizing performance by Newton. Remind yourself to breathe during Newton's scenes with the inspector. Enjoy it!!

It's hard to believe that this is the same Robert Newton who played the Oliver Twist villain Bill Sykes and, later, Long John Silver and Blackbeard. He was a brilliant actor, gone too soon.

It’s hard to know exactly what “crap” you are tired of - the fact that the movie is not to your taste or that the film was called Obsession in the UK and the The Hidden Room in the United States. Either way you seem to be demonstrating ingratitude to the person who took the time and effort to make it available to you. Shame on you
