Well, to be fair, they didn't have the advanced special effects departments that are around now! Even Ray Harryhausen's effects look stilted and awkward now, and they were state of the art at one time.

the map is a bit spooky 1:48 Zizkov in big letters-- where the main cemetery is. English Prague over actual historic map. the rail lines are legit to this day. Theresienstadt at top left map is major "transit" camp for Jews on way to extrmination camps.
