I 100% agree with the idea that the two headed monster was her parents. Especially when you take into account how secluded the family house is. As well as the fact that both of her parents are no where to be found while she is packing up to a medical ward. It just doesn't make sense for her parents to be completely okay and not be their for what is (i assume due to the tapes in quest two) teenage daughter. As for the glowing aura around lana in quest 3 I believe she may be divine touched/favored by a god/goddess and that's why she is so sought out after!!

I think in the line “there was a goddess who was immortal against the jealousy of a warrior” was in reference to Agamemnons jealousy towards his daughter Ifegenia (in this case,Lana).Ifegenia had sacrificed her life to aid the achaeans,but in Agamemnons eyes he must’ve sacrificed a lot more including his child,him being ignorant to his own greed and hubris.Also,for the “goddess who is immortal”,it also could be a reference to his daughter as in some other versions of the myth it’s said out of pity artemis spirited Ifegenia away and replaced her with a deer as sacrifice,then turning her into a goddess.

I also want to add onto this and say that the name Lana also correlates with the name Helen. Helen was the wife of Agamemnon’s brother, Menelaus. In the Iliad, Helen was kidnapped by Paris. Also, another name that is used for Helen is Lena and she is the daughter of Zeus and Leda. Lina and Lena are pronounced the same. Agamemnon helped Menelaus get Helen back in the Trojan war. Both names Lena and Helen mean “bright” as well. This is all a stretch but I just learned about the Trojan war so I thought it was fun that dti made this update at this time and the name Agamemnon was in it.

Oh... this theory actually makes sense. Agamemnon poisoned Lana with an apple, which caused her to become sick and for her friends and family to decline financially due to paying for her medical care. As a result, she grew to hate and avoid apples. Lana, as we know, was still at the salon when the Brat collaboration started, and one of the most popular songs on the Brat album is called Apple. No doubt this would've drove her crazy and resulted in her being hidden.

Extra knowledge: as you know in the Red room (before update), we can see the key and it says “Lana”. So basically, he was locked away by the goddess, and he was trying to get the key. After the Charlie XCX. Lana was like a robot (you can see in the TikTok) but she was not Lana. She was fake Lana. and the basement in the lobby, we can see the Lana was trapped and it says “Lana 1” and “Lana 2”. After the lina came. And in the 3 quest, you can heard the song an extra line was “ so he planned snake into the palace, and consume what wasn’t his. He thought you made it With all of his malice but he was caught in carelessness” so the Palace is the DTI (dressed to impress) and he was unlocked to saw the Lana

Theory: the two headed creature could be lana’s parents, and it chases you probably because Lana’s parents don’t want her to leave them. Her parents probably died years ago, and that’s why she couldn’t pay her medical bill. And Lana probably left her home because her parents died and she didn’t want to bear the feeling of being alone without her parents. So she had to get a quick job that could help her with her medical bills. Theory done.

The painting in Lana’s room in the ending is actually a kpop album cover with the title track ‘EUNOIA’ by Billie. It talks about being a literal parallel to someone else. But with those synced parallels, there are also opposite parallels. They breath at the same time, they speak the same words at once. However, one is blue, and one is purple. One sobs in sorrow while the other cries in elation. They’re two sides of the same paper. They’re “flip-flop”-ing between both parallels. I think this represents how she’s now content with her identity, and knows no matter how alike she is to her clones, they will never be her. Or she just has goated taste in music, which I’m so fine with.

Minor footnote here, you're slightly wrong for differentiating the underworld & "Greek heaven" when talking about where they went after death; there is no really such thing as a Greek heaven, the idea of the dead split between two places like heaven and hell is more of a Catholic concept. The underworld is not automatically hell. In Greek myth when you die, everyone goes to the underworld bc that's the afterlife, period. There are 3 levels to the underworld: Asphodel is where the regular people go, the ones that were neither bad nor good, this is where most ppl go to; Tartarus is what you could compare to "hell" in the underworld, it's where the most vile and evil people go; Elysium is where good heroes and pure people went. Elysium could be compared to heaven, however unlike heaven where if you were just a good person in your life you could get in, not many good people could get into Elysium as it was like a very high end exclusive place & you had to have specific qualifications to get in there and not just "good person". Most people would end up in Asphodel regardless unless you did smth completely evil, then you go to Tartarus. But either way all 3 of these places are in the underworld

Yeah, and I don’t believe Agamemnon wouldn’t have made it into Elysium in traditional myths. The judgement wasn’t really based on modern morality but the greatness of your deeds. For example, Theseus. You could be a total jerk but as long as you’re strong (which he was, Achilles gave him the winning medal before he even went and Hector wanted to fight him for a reason.) and/or connected to the gods (which he was too) you’re getting in. He’s wasn’t a totally bad, more grey then anything. Made a lot of mistakes but also worked to make things right again. Plus he helps Achilles with Patroclus’ funeral 🤷🏿‍♀️

For anyone who needs the explanation. I might be wrong for some of it, but yeah. So in the first chapter, you go to Lana’s childhood home. Lina was Lana’s childhood best friend, Agamemnon *the giant shadow monster god thing* uses people close to Lana to try to make her really like, depressed. So at first, Lana’s life was all normal, and everything. Then, one day, Agamemnon turns Lana’s parents into the double headed monster in chapter one. The monster has drained and driven fear into Lana so much that she is scared to come out of her room. Lana wants to escape, but she is too drained to. So you(as the player) helps her and collects all her items in a suitcase. After that, she finishes packing and she escapes to a hospital (not a normal hospital, kind of like an asylum). Chapter 2- all the people at the hospital believed that Lana has some sort of curse, but she actually doesn’t. Lana was there for the first few weeks all alone, then came a new nurse called nurse Julie. They are all around the same age (15), so automatically nurse Julie was drawn to Lana. She was really nice, and they loved each other, for example they did nice things to each other. Agamemnon realised this behaviour, and made nurse Julie have like a curse. It wasn’t so bad as first, nurse Julie just thought she had a cold. Then it got worse. Her mind became very woozy and messed up, and she started forgetting things, and being really distant and cold to everyone. She described it as she had the feeling someone was watching her all the time. Then finally, Agamemnon spoke to her. He said, if she gave in to the curse and stopped fighting, Lana would be free. Though of course he was lying. Julie loved lana, so of course she would do anything for her. Lana did get free, so to work at the salon (normal dti salon). After a while, if u play dti, u would have realised Lana is gone and there Is a room behind the shelf that has Lana locked in a cage, and Lina is here instead. After a while, it’s only Lina here, until the Halloween update, where if u finish it, Lana is back. So, at chapter 2, you have to run around the hospital, collecting map pieces to help u save Lana. Then, you see for what Julie has turned into. She is blind, can teleport sometimes, and is only attracted by loud noises, so make sure you don’t step on the objects on the ground. When she attacks someone, you can see a bright tear fall from her face, meaning she knows what she is doing, but she regrets it and has no other choice. She is trapped inside the hospital. All the map pieces you need are: the cafeteria, the main one, the recreational room, Lana’s room, nurse Julie’s office, and bathroom upstairs. Try to get the office one last, as it alerts nurse Julie. She literally appears inside the room, so make sure to hide inside the wardrobe when it says she is alerted. After u have all the pieces, there is a speedrun part which you have to dodge hospital objects. Also, at the end of chapter 2, she lets you have a head start in the running part, so she is TRYING to help u but she can’t, because yk, the curse. Chapter 3- at the start, Serena the clothes designer explains to u that at the blood (red) moon, Agamemnon will rise to full power. In the third chapter, u find out that Lina, Lana’s childhood friend, because she was best friends with Lana, is controlled by Agamemnon too, to kidnap Lana. Lina (controlled by Agamemnon) takes Lana and her doppelgänger (aka fake Lana ncp thing) to this giant circular room featured in chapter 3. The entrance to it has a giant maze with traps that you have to avoid. Once you get to the room, u are met by Lina. Remember, at the start to pick up the axe thing *scythe* that will help you later. Once you have picked up it up, u talk with Lina a bit. Next to her looks like Lana, but it’s a fake! It is her doppelgänger. The real Lana is inside that cage. Lina tells you to bow down to Agamemnon, and Lina calls him “not a person, a GOD”, she says. When u say no, to her saying “bow down”, she says, up to the sky aka moon which is red “Agamemnon, god of everything or something like that, turn me into something to fight this puny imbecile (meaning you), turning her into a spider octopus black inky thing with a scary face combination. After that, she sends you a bunch of obstacles, when finally she gets annoyed and starts chasing you face to face. She chases you around a lot, then finally gets dizzy. When she does, she gives out a red outline ,meaning you can attack NOW. Keep spam clicking the screen with your scythe. When she dies, her eyes roll to the back of her head and screams “NO, THIS ISNT THE END”, then dies or smth idk. After that, Lana is saved. BUT in the end there is a little cutscene of a dark shadow (Agamemnon), with the name ‘???’ Above his character dialog, saying “this isn’t over yet”. Leaving you with that cliff hanger.

Some little easter eggs/theories i found in the lore to connect with what you said: (warning very long) -Athena's portrait is directly beside lana's family picture, even looking at it in a way -Additionally Athena's shield is one of the rewards, so possibly Athena has some connection with her family (possibly why Agamemnon wants Lana) -Lana's name means "blessed/light" and she has a little glow we see in chapter 3 (additionally, lina, serena and even julie all have some "light/angelic" meaning to their name. Helen of Troy's name also means light! ) -Lana was probably tempted by Agamemnon with the apple which poisoned her, kind of like the apple of discord -The hospital has "doves" in its name, which is aphrodite's sacred animal -Adding on to the "ipheginia theory" aganemnon's daughter was deceived into believing she was going to be married to achilles as a "peace offering to the gods" (when in reality she was sacrificed) kind of like how lana was "deceived by Agamemnon" -In some variations of iphegenia's tale she was saved by artemis (who is a moon goddess) and lana was going to be "sacrificed" at a blood moon -the apple is a big motif (even tie ins to the brat update with "apple" when lana first started glitching) and in greek mythology it symbolizes immortality, but also discord like when the apple of discord caused the trojan war -The apple of discord started as a "beauty contest" for the 3 goddesses, and dress to impress quite literally IS a beauty contest (with 3 winners!) and lina mentions "we've been watching you"

One thing(not really a critic but just info): Greek mythology doesn't have heaven, yes there is Olympus but that is for the gods. Everything is in the underworld, the heaven Agemenmons daughter probably went to is known as Elysium which is a part of the underworld. Agemenmon was most likely send to the Fields of Asphodel which is the medium where people who did as many or more bad things than good get sent. Any mortal that dies goes to the underworld just different parts of it. Just to let you know :D These are the parts: Elysium or the Elysian Fields: It is considered as Greek Heaven, people who usually go here are demigods who were liked by the gods such as Achilles or extremely good mortals like Ephidinia. There are beautiful gardens and eternal bliss. The Isles of the Blessed: It is considered as a part of Elysium or just a separate island in the underworld. People who go here are considered extremely good people and considered more happier than Elysium. People who go here are people who were reincarnated 3 times and were extremely good in all those 3 lives, its usually considered the ultimate paradise in Greek mythology. Asphodel Meadows: Where Agemenmon probably went is where people who were usually neutral go to like as much bad as they did they did that much good. Its considered as a dark forest where souls wonder without aim just looking for something. Tartarus: Its where the worst sinners go to like people who ate their children and tried to trick death. Just for info :D, By the way really great video! This must have taken a lot of research and editing plus recording as well as observing, its one of the best DTI videos I've ever seen. Love this video, here's a thought. What if he did manage to turn himself into a god before being locked away. The God's can lock up other gods. As a minor God he would be weak and needs offerings to grow his power. Another thing is the crow we get. Crow's are commonly a symbol of punishment, i believe you are right in the fact he's being punished for something involving Athena as Crow's are sometimes linked to her as well.

In my mind he had to have found a way, maybe the involving golden apple. another point I see Lina as an Aphrodite stand in. Aphrodite sided with Troy since she gave Paris Helen in exchange for the apple which lead to the war.

My theory: In her diary, she mentions a part of a Agamemnon is there, and lina was in one of lanas pictures. If she had the black fire effect around her, then that could answer that. Lana also had a roommate, but they left as only lanas name tag was on the door. This could mean their problem wasnt as bad as lanas, or nothing was wrong at all. Another reason why it only said lana, is because there was 2 lanas, or lanas with the same name. You see another lana reach out to another one in her pictures but the one with the smile is the fake lana, because when the revamp came it mentioned she was fake in lanas diary, and thats when she smiled. Chapter 1 lore, edited (item theory) Lanas greek tale mythology book has someone on the cover. This is most likely a greek god. From my memories, i thought i saw athenas shield being held by a man on this book cover. This could prove your theory of her resembling athena, and athenas shield being held by someone else other than her, could mean the person resembles Agamemnon, showing how he took stuff that were hers, or maybe how she hasnt been proven free.

The fact that the monsters are probably Lana’s parents in chapter 1 is terrifying to me. They are faceless, unknown. The way they are messily and carelessly seamed together is also crazy grotesque to me, in the best way of course. Things I've picked up: The monsters explained: 1. Lana's parents is/are the two headed monster, just sewed together. If you look closely, one part of it looks female, and the other masculine. They still love Lana, so if you play chapter one, it doens't go into Lana's room. It's been manipulated to think you're trying to hurt Lana. 2. Nurse Julie, if you listen to the tape, turned into a monster by Agamemnon for being close to Lana. She was really nice, and if you listen to the tape in her office, you'll know a lot about her past (really sad.) She even has a picture with Lina, Serena, and Lana. Interesting behavior: I heard a theory that the Lana in the cage is a robot. She twitched and looked really odd, and if you play the Forest game by LanaDoesNails you might notice that the shed is shaking and rattling. So the person who came up with this theory thinks Lana is trapped in the shed. During the Brat update, Lana was poisoned by an apple, right? And she kept having to hear "Apple" by Charli Xcx on repeat, making her go crazy. And no, I did not come up with this theory.
