I am so glad that someone made up video on the relevant topic. We are living in a generation where the entire women fashion is based upon skin exposure. Today's fashion industry is ruining the entire generation. As you said in the video as well, we are not looking for perfect body type, we are looking for perfect dress and a body that fits into the dress. And you forgot to mention about Korean fashion industry, where the youth is obsessed with plastic surgery and other operations, and going on insane level to match beauty standards. No need to mention Indians obsession with fair skin. It has reached to so deep, that today even black people are obsessed with fair skin colour. I mean do we have even have a data of how many people are dying per year world wide due to taking cosmetic drugs? People are spending more than they earn just buy expensive beauty products and dresses. And most unfortunate part is, today suggesting a girl to wear modest cloths is seen as oppression.

Reason is same why till today we give jee, neet the utmost importance It's the probability of winning is low and the outcome is great .Once a model becomes successful she is going to be a star with luxury Moreover to be a good model you need to be either in Paris, Milan or , London which is already a dream to many people Also the debt they take from agencies need not to be paid back Moreover 90% models start their career at 15to 18 which means they are just high school graduates which makes difficult for them to get any job ( that's they don't have backup) The glam, the fashion, the high society parties also plays a great role in driving the attention of young teenage girls Also everything you have discussed is about runway models(best) while other models like beauty models, commercial models , hand models etc don't face these issues Few years ago I wanted to be model but luckily I did thorough research and saved my time

In India models are really underrated. Their are many Super models like Madhu Sapre, Ujjwala Raut, , Moni Kangana Datta who have represented India in international platforms but still too less people Knows her. Because Bare bare designers ke Show's topper ka position toh actresses and influencers ne le liya hai. But here fault is not of those Influencers, Models or designers. Because agar kisi ko bina zyaada mehenat kare hi show's topper banne ka mauka mil raha hai toh bhala kaun hi mana karega and Designers ke shows ko bhi tab hi exposer milega jab koi well known actress unke show pe ayengi. So here we should stop glorifying the wrong mindset that Actresses are superior than models . Then only it can make a change

There's always a dark side and a bright side of a career, being a design student we always take care of our models, I've seen and worked with some of the top models of India, I'm very sure you all have seen them in tv and magzine covers. I also believe models are highly paid, my friend who's new to modelling industry is earning 15k per shoot... So being a student and earning that amount is very helpful i guess. Even now a days Brands are flexible in making varied sizes of outfit so that it remains comfortable for the models, being said that now a days oversized models are encouraged very much, i was a part of a very famous fashion show that happened in India and there were variety of models with varied physical features. Yes when we are taught design we are supposed to follow a perticular size (d-12 uk) but adjustments are/can be made to that as well. Those who are willing to take modelling as a career please do not restrict yourself if it is your passion. Just be careful about the agency that you're tieing up.. because not all the agents are legitimate. 👍🏻 Take care ❤️

finally someone said it, and regarding money also no one gets paid in their initial stages of job even the doctors doing internship don't get paid
@knowledgevlogger2 жыл бұрын
I think it's not about how much you're getting paid but it is about how much you are spending. If you earn 15k per day and you spend double of what you earn to maintain so call standards then you'll end up being a slave.
@sabahsiddiqui75372 жыл бұрын
@@knowledgevlogger why does one has to maintain the 'so called' standards? It's the audience who are not okay to see the models in their natural form, if they walk out in public without maintaining the 'so called' standards they get cancelled and get trolled for showing up in their natural form. People need to realise that models are humans too and shouldn't expect the 'so called' standards to be served to them everytime. No one wants to splurge all the money when they're in debt.

Yes, everything is fine till you try to take it as a competition or a challenge. So, in my opinion, for living a better life, it's not just about having knowledge, but being wise. Because knowledge doesn't give you an understanding of everything, but wisdom does give you an understanding of everything.

If you want to succeed in the modeling field, you must have someone in your family background who is a well-known model or affiliated with the modeling industry. Modeling is a field with a high level of nepotism. The number of people turning to the modeling field is increasing. If you want to stay out of it you have to be familiar with it in some other way .. There are very few models who are rich and famous with their own talent.. They see you only as a doll to introduce new clothes and fashions. Whatever the dress, you have to wear it with comfort or not. You always have to maintain the size. In most of the leading modeling industries, selection is not available after the age of 21. You will have to select there at a young age and follow their strict diets and exercise. We will have to hold on till the end of the contract.. In IMG models, they only select children between the ages of 15 and 18. There is no oppurtunity for those over 18, otherwise you have to be famous in some other way. So many people even stop studying and go after their passion but most of them do not succeed ..

Look at Indian models like Riky Chatterjee, Ninja Pinto, Harry Sachdev, Noynika, Anita, Alicia raut, Rachael, list goes on... Every industry has its pro's and cons, if we don't know or seek help to weigh them, any industry could be toxic 🙂
