Did a 10-pull on Firefly on a 50/50. Got her. Did another 10-pull for Ruan Mei. Gold. Won the 50/50. Got her. Had way more jades than I expected. Said fuck it. 10-pull for Ruan Mei's lightcone. Got it. This was after winning the 50/50 on Aventurine too. Infact I've been insanely lucky with Star Rail in general

You're asking too much. 2x speed is actually not 2x speed. They would have to re-record all the voice lines, sound effects, etc just to give you a middle option... That's a huge budget if you ask me. From a company perspective, it's not worth it. I'd rather have them invest that budget somewhere else, development of a new gamemode for example

Not surprising that the double limited 5 star team would do better than one with Xeuyi, but it’s cool to see variations in a team with Firefly. Seems that there’s more room for different teams than we gave Firefly credit for which makes me feel better in deciding to pull. And honestly anything above 1300 action value for a win is fine, so hey this fun team worked.

If the goal isn’t too hard then running these meme comps works alright. My gripe is xueyi has no inherent synergy with firefly while boothill functions at full strength while keeping the team alive too. Thats prob the only real duo dps comp of hers.

When talking about ways to increase super break dmg you forgot to mention the amount of toughness the atk does contributes to the dmg as well. Its actually one of the bigest factors which is why ruan mei is such an upgrade.

Superbreak also scale with weakness break efficiency, so like, galagar e6 will do more superbreak damage than galager e5 because he gains break efficiency on his e6

I believe when March 7th hunt comes out, she will fit right in with Firefly's team. She will be a side grade to Ruan Mei, but most definitely an upgrade to any other chars (Xueyi, Pela, Guinaifen, etc).

In Xueyi team, if the enemy is not weak to quantum, March cannot do toughness dmg, which is a very huge deal. While in Firefly team, March can do toughness dmg cuz of fire weakness implant from Firefly, and she can also inflict imaginary weakness break when she breaks enemy toughness, which with high break effect stat, can send enemies to shadow realm never able to recover again, which is much more potent than Ruan Mei's break delay. In short, you are underestimating her utility with Firefly team. Xueyi with March 7th will be good but only for quantum weakness enemies, otherwise its just not that good.

@@stellar1016 I dont know in what world are you gonna play march 7th with FF considering her best units are hmc, gallagher and rm. And if you dont have rm, you can use Asta. You’re better off playing any other unit that can buff her damage(Pela, Guinafen) rather than getting a sub dps.

I HIGHLY recommend running hybrid on Xueyi. Running full break is a huge waste of her kit and hybrid is actually better if you can manage a decent Crit ratio. Just swap the body to Crit and orb to atk, and if possible, run a 4 quantum set

This would be correct if you had a single crit related buff on the team. Whatever build is best for a character can change depending on the supports. But usually yes crit hybrid.

It makes more sense once put that way still though, it feels weird to me personally to waste her BE to DMG% conversion since still using her with HMC gives her a lot of both DMG% and BE (from the passive), but I don't have any math to back up which is better

With Super Break, you want to keep her Crit ratio to the BARE MINIMUM of 50/100 just to trigger Salsotto. I run kinda shit relics with only a Crit Rate body to reach 50, while I've been trying to funnel everything else into Break Effect, and she deals INSANE damage.

I believe super break also scales off of toughness damage, that is, increasing your break efficiency also increases your super break damage.

I have Ruan Mei... but I am a dedicated Xueyi appreciator and I managed to get Firefly's light cone (so now Xueyi can use Fall of an Aeon). I'm 100% trying this now I know it's at least decent. I can cope by saying that this frees Ruan Mei up to be used with the second team.

I lost 50 50 trying to get Ruan Mei. 83 hard earned pulls and I got Yanqing, the weakest character ever. I did get E6 Xueyi however. So I've been thinking on who to use in Firefly team: - Firefly - Harmony MC - Gallagher - ? It's a choice between E3 Asta vs E6 Xueyi and I'm not sure who to pick. Thoughts?

Another choice is break himeko, especialy vs elites, throwing out her pizza cutter after every other FF turn, since she dont need to rely on burst and e2 passive to break unlike xuiey when theres no matching element weakness, since FF applies the pyro

@@wyattskyyto be far tho E4/E6 are a Massive Buff For Example my HMC gives my team Around 100% Extra BE from the E4 + Ult. ( for the exact number it’s 54%~64% BE from E4 depending on Ult and the extra 33% BE from the Ult it’s self so 100% BE for free ) And the E6 lets you have 100% uptime of the Ult even if your using a BE rope. So if you’re gonna take the BE team seriously you wanna at Least get the E4 and maybe go for E6 if you want peak performance.

how about going one step further and replacing gallagher with xueyi. This would definetly not be sustainable in Apocalyptic Shadow (AS?) but probably viable in future MOC cycles, when enemies have quantum weakness and no fire weakness. But still Gallagher is also amazing at breaking thoughness especially paired with firefly and he is also doing insane amounts of superbreak, but it could be better für 0 cycles

Personally I would recommend Firefly E1 but if you really want a light cone I would say Ruan Mei's as she's used in far more teams than Firefly, but if you really love Firefly then pull her's.
